Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Kamal PByron Bay, Australia9,529 contributionsBerry springs was a great spot to take a cool dip in the somewhat shallow pool fed by a creek that gently cascaded in to the pool in the form of a weir. It was very easy to get to the weir and relax letting the water to splash on the head and shoulders like a water massage. Spring carrying crystal clear water extended to a larger pool where it was easy to swim and enjoy a great freshwater bath. With the warm weather in Northern Territory, Berry springs was one of the safe cooling spots and during our tour to Litchfield National Park, the dip at the Berry Springs became the second bath of the day.Written 24 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kamal PByron Bay, Australia9,529 contributionsWaterfront was well designed to attract visitors with the area smartly utilized, incorporating lot of spaces for different fun activities. This very methodically laid out area had almost all the amenities we needed as travellers. From the city the waterfront was accessible easily on an elevated pedestrian walkway which was well protected by a roof so that one would not get drenched during bad weather conditions. Access was well illuminated in the night with an elevator to get to the ground level. There were some beautiful sculptures of "Jipijonton" or "Jabiru" birds, paintings and real palms decorating this area which was connected to the dining and shopping precinct of the waterfront. Well surfaced pathways meandering through the area led us across the park area to the Wave Lagoon, Recreational Lagoon and the Darwin convention centre. The convention centre was an attractive building which was elegantly lit up with hues of blue in the night. Wave Lagoon was very popular with tourists and in a warm day the pool was a great comforter that was filled with fun. Adjoining the Lagoon were several breakwater piers creating some calmer water basins where we observed an Aquapark with sports activity being offered. In the same neighbourhood there were jet ski or water scooters, tour boats and the Stokes Hill wharf where we were able to enjoy the harbour views, watch sailing ships, boats and birds with dining facilities. The Jetty was also in the same surroundings. The entire area was very picturesque and methodically put to good use.Written 3 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Capt_FunkeliciousSydney, Australia676 contributionsi've been to my share of markets, and these were pretty good. we got there right on sunset and it was absolutely stunning. the markets were predominantly food-driven, but there were enough stalls to be interesting. and quite a few of those stalls were offering items specific to the northern territory, so it felt genuine in that way. it was very well-serviced with cabs at one end to whisk you away when the time was right.Written 11 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Still a bit crowded but more manageable ( eg queues not as bad). Nice Vietnamese iced coffee, good food options. Would def go again. - Deborah GShell Cove, Australia49 contributionsSuch a gorgeously laidback, fun venue on the water. We were lucky to be there for the International Film Festival and on the night we went, saw three short films set in the NT that were all excellent. Live music was included, and Sri Lankan food and mixed drinks were available for purchase. Producers, directors and film stars gave talks after each movie, and the star of Bear was available for cuddles, which I took full advantage of! The deck chairs aren't the most comfortable things you've ever watched a movie in, but there are other seating options, including bean bags. Can't recommend this enough.Written 10 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Marlisar BSydney, Australia8 contributionsA great 1 hr cruise. Tour guides were great. Both gave some informative information about the crocs. We seen a few crocs on the cruise. The largest just over 5 metres. Great that all profits went to indigenous communities.Written 19 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - emmatrow2024Brisbane, Australia1 contributionMy dad and I jumped on this tour last minute and from start to finish it was an amazing day packed full of incredible moments- delicious breakfast and a peaceful river cruise, followed by a very thrilling airboat ride amongst the reeds spotting crocs- it’s amazing how close up you get to them and other wildlife too such as some very impressive eagles. Matt and Jake were so knowledgeable about the crocs, other wildlife, the land and made the tour very interactive! The rescue croc feeding was incredible to see- Matt definitely knows his crocs and their unique personalities very well! Finishing the tour with a helicopter ride was so memorable- awesome to see the whole area from above.
The safari camp itself was also very tranquil and perfect place to unwind with a beer after all the excitement!
Absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Darwin for an experience that feels a lot more immersive than a standard croc tour!Written 12 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
