Fantastic experience overall. Did the VIP tour, the Cage of Death and the Whipray feed. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The enclosures and the animals were incredibly. Got there at 9.00 and didn’t leave until closing time.

This is quite a modern and bright musem, covering a range of topics, including history, natural history, art etc. The displays and info boards are up to date and it's easy to find your way around. Recommended.

Berry springs was a great spot to take a cool dip in the somewhat shallow pool fed by a creek that gently cascaded in to the pool in the form of a weir. It was very easy to get to the weir and relax letting the water to splash on the head and shoulders like a water massage. Spring carrying crystal clear water extended to a larger pool where it was easy to swim and enjoy a great freshwater bath. With the warm weather in Northern Territory, Berry springs was one of the safe cooling spots and during our tour to Litchfield National Park, the dip at the Berry Springs became the second bath of the day.

Absolutely amazing, It exceeded my expectations by miles.
The information was vast, and the understanding I've come away with is imesarable. A respect for what our allied health professionals do through the RFFA and the bombing of Darwin.

Waterfront was well designed to attract visitors with the area smartly utilized, incorporating lot of spaces for different fun activities. This very methodically laid out area had almost all the amenities we needed as travellers. From the city the waterfront was accessible easily on an elevated pedestrian walkway which was well protected by a roof so that one would not get drenched during bad weather conditions. Access was well illuminated in the night with an elevator to get to the ground level. There were some beautiful sculptures of "Jipijonton" or "Jabiru" birds, paintings and real palms decorating this area which was connected to the dining and shopping precinct of the waterfront. Well surfaced pathways meandering through the area led us across the park area to the Wave Lagoon, Recreational Lagoon and the Darwin convention centre. The convention centre was an attractive building which was elegantly lit up with hues of blue in the night. Wave Lagoon was very popular with tourists and in a warm day the pool was a great comforter that was filled with fun. Adjoining the Lagoon were several breakwater piers creating some calmer water basins where we observed an Aquapark with sports activity being offered. In the same neighbourhood there were jet ski or water scooters, tour boats and the Stokes Hill wharf where we were able to enjoy the harbour views, watch sailing ships, boats and birds with dining facilities. The Jetty was also in the same surroundings. The entire area was very picturesque and methodically put to good use.

i've been to my share of markets, and these were pretty good. we got there right on sunset and it was absolutely stunning. the markets were predominantly food-driven, but there were enough stalls to be interesting. and quite a few of those stalls were offering items specific to the northern territory, so it felt genuine in that way. it was very well-serviced with cabs at one end to whisk you away when the time was right.

We were amazed by the sheer size of the 8 engine B52 bomber which was as much long as the length of the display hanger. There were many smaller aircrafts as well as fighter aircrafts and helicopters. Most eye-catching exhibits outside the hanger, on an apron were the Douglas DC 3 Dakota, the Four engine Lockheed Orion and the Mitsubishi MU 2 and a vintage well preserved Airport Fire Fighting engine. De Havilland Dove, vintage biplane De Havilland Tiger Moth, the small Rutan Long EZe and the replica of the Spitfire were beautiful exhibits. Westland Wessex and the Bell cobra were some of the helicopters that we would never have seen other than in a museum like this. Vehicle mounted and portable boarding staircases provided access to take a closer look at some of the exhibits. The nose and the middle part of a North American B 25 D Mitchell bomber named “Hawg Mouth” which had been in active service was a great attraction.

Spent a few hours here on our travels.
    Kids had an absolute ball.
Has plenty of shade and trees around to sit under.
No toilets within the wave pool area.
Closest ones were near the kiosk or in the park.
Didn’t take away from the fun had.

Definitely worth a visit. The crocodile feeding session provides amazing information about these ancient and resilient creatures. The Park is a research centre which offers opportunities to handle small crocodiles, snakes and pat wallabies (kids love it). They have a range of crocodiles from small to huge!!

We really enjoyed the Park and would definitely recommend it to friends. Good range of animals - lions, meerkats, ostriches, monkeys, capybaras and lots more. They have a cruise (we did not do this so can't comment -extra $18pp in 2024).

It is $44 per adult to enter (2024), but worth it if you listen to the information at the displays. If you have kids, definitely go.

This place has a shop, toilets and an indoor display/ exhibition space. But the best bits are all outside, where there are rusting trucks and military vehicles, tanks and a huge WWII coastal gun emplacement. There are several different inside display areas around the ground, and various memorial items. Excellent.

These markets were great - a much better proportion of food stalls to product stalls. Still a bit crowded but more manageable ( eg queues not as bad). Nice Vietnamese iced coffee, good food options. Would def go again. Mindil - I won’t.

You can pre purchase tickets online or just turn up and pay on the door, I would suggest getting there early as the fish get full with food and with quite a few guests even on weekdays, if you turn up later the fish may not be so active in looking for food.

Inside there are steps and a slope to feed the fish from, good information given about the fish that are about. A small cafe serving soft drinks and coffees, maybe food too? An iced coffee with a scoop of ice cream is around $8.
Around there is also a children's play area if your kids get bored of feeding the fish. Plenty of fish to feed and watch, certainly an interesting little place and nice to go and see if your in this area...

Family friendly park with great facilities. Free waterslides (three), full playground and full functioning water park makes for a great day spent at the park.
