Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing tour, with Joey our tour guide who everything about anything! Plenty of opportunities to swim, and lots of facts given to us while on the road.

We booked this trip last minute and was so pleased we did, the crocodile tour was an amazing start, we had Damo and Shano as our guides, great fun and are really passionate about what they do, we have some fantastic photos from the trip, this was a great start. Our guide was Daryl for the whole tour, he was very informative about the landscape and culture, the cathedral termite mounds were incredible, there are a few stops along the way for drinks and snacks, then onto Kakadu, this is a short tour of the indigenous art at Ubirr, the one thing I would say is please listen to your guide, it is very hot at Ubirr and they will insist you take lots of water 1.5L per person is a must! Don’t forget a hat and good walking shoes, the view from the top is incredible. Would highly recommend.

It was a long day and Tim the bus driver kept us going with bits of information as we drove down "the track" but to me the highlight was the boat trip and a huge shout out to the young woman who was our guide and boat driver on the Gorge. I'm so sorry I can't remember her name but she was engaging, funny and knowledgeable and had nija boat driving skills.

Excellent tour guide who had great knowledge and shared it with us as we drove to the river. The boat tour was great we saw 8 crocs and Tamara the guide was brilliant. She was witty, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. Great day!

Excellently organized tour - Will kept us on time and aware of ok that was going in. Crazy fun sense of humor kept us entertained along the way. Frequent comfort stops were welcome. The lunch served was fresh and tasty. Snacks and water were always available. I’d book this again in a heartbeat!

We booked this trip with LookAbout Tours because we used to go Fogg Damn forty odd years ago to bird watch and see the fabulous sunsets. We regarded it as a good way to see some Northern Territory nature and as a nostalgic trip down memory lane. We were not disappointed! Geoff was a superb guide and appreciated that we were there to reminisce as well as see some birds. The side trip to Leaning Tree Lagoon was a bonus as we saw a large variety of birds, including Jabiru Stork, Royal Spoonbill and a close up of Red Tailed Cockatoo. Fogg Damn itself was different to how we remembered it with a sealed road and viewing platforms but there were very few visitors so we virtually had the place to ourselves. The sunset was lovely and provided fantastic photographs.
After the sun had set we went to Humpty Doo pub nearby where we enjoyed good beer, Barramundi and the biggest steak in the NT, There was only four guests with Geoff and we really enjoyed having a chat together after the tour.
The following day, Geoff sent us copies of his photos which was a bonus.
We would definitely recommend this trip as a great way to see Northern Territory nature in a small, friendly group.

Really enjoyed it. The highlight was the driver Libby, who too us to Kakadu and back. Great commentary. Highly recommend the tour and driver Libby --one in a million.

Evan, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly and amazing. He should be given a salary increase :). Kept up the commentary all the way. The boat had comfortable seats, lunch was big enough to feed two people. Just a beautiful place. Don't expect to see jumping crocs, you have to find them in their natural habitat. No easy feat at all but Evan managed to spot them! Thanks Evan for a wonderful experience.

Nice and comprehensive tour through the Litchfield NP and very nice spots. All in all a quite enjoyable tour, thanks to our guide Rick. Just be aware that there can be a lot of people at some spots.

Tim, our guide was excellent with high sense of humour. The swimming spot at one of waterfalls was refreshing. Could have stayed longer.

The positive and negative reviews were very accurate, but the negative ones seemed to be personal taste as to what was boring or not. Read the description - it's what you get. Positives - lovely locations and the tour company did a good job of hitting all the top spots with enough time to see the sights and swim if desired. The lunch was simple, but very well prepared - potato salad, pasta salad, deli sandwiches (make your own), watermelon for dessert. Ice cold water to refill water bottles was available.
Negatives - Nov is HOT!!! and HUMID!!! but this is hardly the tour company's fault. Our driver was also the tour guide and while his commentary was good, it was so halting (distracted by having to talk and drive at the same time?) and such a strong accent (of course, I am the foreigner here) that it was hard to understand him. The bus had a very loud idling motor.
I would definitely recommend this tour. We saw wallaby, bats, termite mounds and huge spiders. So cool!

    This was a great tour.
The crocodiles were not out in big numbers, but the crew managed to get three of them interested enough to come out to meet us.
It was spectacular watching these massive creatures coming up out of the water, and having a go at the meat hanging tantalisingly close to them.
The almighty 'clunk' as the jaws of the biggest male slammed shut gave me the shivers actually.
I think everybody on the boat enjoyed themselves.
The 'skipper' gave us a very good commentary, and the Croc-master offering the grub to the reptiles, gave a virtuoso performance of a Fish Kite's whistle, luring a couple of them to fly in and take tidbits mid-air!
Later we stopped at the beautiful nature reserve at Howards Springs, and fed the fish.
The tour guide, Roman, was very jovial and well versed in the local history and features.
    A top day out.
    I would reccomend highly.
