Its a long trip on a small coach but worth it. Driver was excellent and factual all day.

The people of the islands gave a warm welcome and a rare opportunity to experience a smoking ceremony. Islanders shared their dances, culture and humour before morning tea.
Local artists helped us screen print a tea towel or t-shirt. Such warm and expert teaching. Lunch was fresh and satisfying and later we visited the museum and the famous Top End Wedding church.
It was an opportunity to visit a community where culture and language are alive. Highly recommended .. was nice not to be in a big group. Didn't feel rushed at all. So glad we didn't hire a car for the sake of getting to litchfield. The food presented was amazing and a diverse selection of local produce. We recommended the tour to lots of fellow travellers as we went through to Adelaide. - Kellie M13 contributionsWe loved our walking tour. John was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. It was nice learning new things about Darwin, whilst learning of it's huge history - that realistically shaped Australia, without a lot of Australians ever knowing!
