Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We are touring Australia for 2 months and included Alice Springs purely to visit the Kangaroo Sanctuary! It has always been my dream to meet Brolga ( as many before me, a little in love with him ) A charismatic, friendly man with clearly an enormous passion for saving kangaroos & Joeys! The most wonderful tour with him and his gorgeous rescues! I loved every single minute, if you get to attend this tour you are very very fortunate!! Love love love you and what you do Brolga/ Chris!

A terrific representation of the central Australian habitats and their species. Easy walking paths snake through the park, and the place is alive with birds and insects (not in the enclosures). The free-flying bird show is a highlight, with owls, kites and an egg-smashing buzzard swooping just over our heads. A must-do in Alice Springs if you've any interest in nature.

Lovely drive up the hill commemorating the fallen and wars over the years that Australia has fought in.

    Good parking.

Just a few steps up to the cenataph and viewing area.

Great views over Alice Springs out to The Gap and MacDonnell Ranges.

    Well worth a drive up.

Lest we Forget, we will remember them.

Stunning place, well worth the drive out from Alice Springs.

    Great swimming spot.

I worked in Alice 45years ago and this was the weekend spot in summer for a swim and BBQ.

    Stunning scenery.

A fantastic little gallery featuring wonderful traditional & contemporary Aborinal artwork. Their collaboration glass work is beautiful. And for anyone on holidays, missing their fur baby, the in- house pooch is always available for pats & belly rubs.

The outback scenery is ruggedly lovely. You can do some easy-to-moderate hiking. When we were there the cafe wasn't open, and we didn't see any rock wallabies (though we save "evidence" of them), however, a chance to explore the outback when you're in Alice Springs is, in my opinion, a must do.

What a beautiful Cultural Centre. Watching the Aboriginal Artists work was fascinating. Their artworks are amazing. A wonderful cultural learning space. Really loved the story telling in the sand.

This is a beautiful area and worth a visit. We could not see the art as the water was deep and we didn’t want to swim. You now need a parks pass. You can walk from here to Jesse gap.

    AMAZING!

I went on the tour late July 2024 and it was perfect. Alex our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour included walks each day and the views were amazing. Uluru has been on my bucket list for a while, and this ticked it off better than I could have imagined.

I did three nights and 4 days - just the right amount of time.

Swags were warm and comfortable. Food was great. It was easy to make friends with people on the tour. Highly recommend.

We found this trip to be an awesome experience. The accommodation was a wonderful experience at Kings Creek Station and our guide Yad at Yulara was very friendly, helpful and very informative. We will be coming back for sure.

This was a full day of fun in the company of our interesting and informative guides, Mark and Kimberly. They worked hard to make sure that we got to see and experience all that the region had to offer. I still cannot believe all of the delightful adventures that they included in the day. What a rich and positive opportunity to see this part of Australia. Our group ranged from 20’s to 70’s and we all had fun. Highly recommended.

Well-organised trip where we saw the balloon set up, saw the sun rise over the outback, flew with captain Jason for about an hour and landed safely, then helped to stow the balloon. Great fun, just do it!!

The team at Outback Tour Services are phenomenal! We booked a transfer from Alice Springs to Yulara. Not only were they really affordable, there communication pre booking, during booking and the transfer itself was amazing. They also provide the transfer at such a great rate and saved us the hire car from Alice Springs to Yulara.
