Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Did the World Expeditions End to End 14 days walking and sleeping in swags. Guides Karl V and Jacob were amazing and worked hard to keep us safe, informed and very well fed.

Johnno took my sister & I on a trip of a lifetime to Palm Valley 4 wheel driving in a rear wheel drive vehicle! He was awesome sharing his knowledge & understanding of the stunning region. Friendly, funny, well read & entirely enjoyable during the whole day. What an adventure for 2 septuagenarians. Thank you Johnno for creating wonderful memories for us. NB Johnno was extremely thoughtful in providing details of what the trip included & times of arrival & departure from each stop.

If you are taking the Ernest Giles Road between Alice Springs and Kings Canyon/Uluáąźu, do your self a favour and take the turn off to the Henbury Meteorite site. It is one of those gems that you could so easily miss! Not only is it geologically fascinating, but it is so pretty especially with the wild flowers in bloom. There is parking and a loo, and a short, marked walk of about 1.5 km. . It was a lovely hour break to our journey

Well-organised trip where we saw the balloon set up, saw the sun rise over the outback, flew with captain Jason for about an hour and landed safely, then helped to stow the balloon. Great fun, just do it!!

Double Simpson Crossing with these legends was amazing, great equipment, support and hospitality. The Alice based team led by Michael and Damo did an awesome job of getting every one there and back.
    No doubt I'll be back

Amazing trek something completely different to my usual trekking in NZ but that was exactly what I was looking for. The guides were just lovely. Their cooking absolutely fabulous! Never feeling hungry food well presented and nutritious. The walk in itself was beautiful and breathtaking. Hot .. yes.. but you are well prepared for it in all aspects.

We saw two of Saturn’s moons! Top rate information and even kid-friendly. If you want the dinner option, book more than the day of, like I did, and missed out on what looked delicious.

The team at Outback Tour Services are phenomenal! We booked a transfer from Alice Springs to Yulara. Not only were they really affordable, there communication pre booking, during booking and the transfer itself was amazing. They also provide the transfer at such a great rate and saved us the hire car from Alice Springs to Yulara.

The Grampians Peaks to Peaks Trail is everything they say it is. There were some fairly rough parts of the track with most of us later confiding that the first km or so had us wondering whether we were doing the right thing!
The walking was difficult and you do need to be reasonably fit - that said, it is very much OK to take your time and keep to the back of the pack, letting those in front meet the brown snakes first.
The views were very special, the set up with the tents and platforms was very well organised and the meals made by the team were very tasty. There was a strong tendency to receive vegan or vegetarian food and I felt our energy levels may have been slightly higher with a bit of meat but this is a minor quibble. The people on the tour were interesting and really wanted to be there and we had a number of very meaningful conversations that you can only really have while walking along though the bush.

We hadn't expected so much variety. Bill was an exceptional guide, informative, amusing and caring. We were a group of 8 old friends with no travel experience in this part of Australia, so Bill made sure we saw the amazing sights around West MacDonnell ranges. The colours, rock formations and stories made a huge impression, all the better for the time of day he chose for our trip. Our comfort was at all times assured and we left the area quite affected by his passion for Central Australia.
