Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Jill B12 contributionsThis was a full day of fun in the company of our interesting and informative guides, Mark and Kimberly. They worked hard to make sure that we got to see and experience all that the region had to offer. I still cannot believe all of the delightful adventures that they included in the day. What a rich and positive opportunity to see this part of Australia. Our group ranged from 20’s to 70’s and we all had fun. Highly recommended.Written 13 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- deannag689Nelson, New Zealand13 contributionsAmazing trek something completely different to my usual trekking in NZ but that was exactly what I was looking for. The guides were just lovely. Their cooking absolutely fabulous! Never feeling hungry food well presented and nutritious. The walk in itself was beautiful and breathtaking. Hot .. yes.. but you are well prepared for it in all aspects.Written 19 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MartinP320London, UK28 contributionsThe "Larapinta, Kings Canyon and Uluru in Comfort" was a wonderful way of experiencing the highlights of the Red Centre, with outstanding guiding from Alena, Jaimie and Andrew. They were very well-informed and friendly and worked very well as a team. The eco-camps were extremely comfortable and well-designed and the food we were served was of a high standard. The accommodation at Kings Creek was of a less high standard, but adequate. Recommended to any reasonably strong walker.Written 13 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

All of the drivers, without exception, endeavoured to make their tours interesting and informative. Because they obviously cared about their customers it is hard to criticise their enthusiasm. My criticism is that many of them do not know when to stop talking and allow the passing scenery to tell its own story. On the trip from Alice Springs, approx 6 hours the driver talked virtually non stop from beginning to end except for rest breaks. Other drivers were less talkative but rarely provided substantial breaks from their monologues to allow quiet contemplation of the passing views. I would suggest that drivers talk for 15 minutes (the length of time that one can hold peoples attention) and then leave their passengers in peace until a significant event such as a rest break or significant point of interest arises. The drivers seem to have made a positive effort to acquaint themselves with local history and topography but all too often we got similar topics related over and over by enthusiastic drivers and then by our guides at points of interest.
Drivers have a significant role in making a journey pleasant and informative and I applaud their efforts but I frankly cannot cope with being constantly ear bashed whilst strapped into a seat I am unable to leave until the destination is reached. For that reason I will be loth to travel with AAT Kings ever again for any distance.Written 20 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
