Since I was 12 years old I wanted to go to Australia so that I could visit the Red Center. When my husband and I started looking at the possible activities we could do there, we decided we wanted to visit Uluru and Alice Springs. We thought about renting a car to drive from one place to the other, but all the blogs recommended not to do so unless we knew the area pretty well because if something happened to us, it could be a long time before we got any help.
Thank God we found this tour! We did the 4 day and it was so worthwhile! Not only because of the landscapes, the hikes and the swims in the waterholes, but also because of the people we met on the tour, and the whole camping vibe.
It had been several years since the last time I had slept outdoors, and even though at the beginning I was a little bit scared because of the snakes, it was just a marvelous experience. The swag was very comfortable (even though they were a little bit dirty because they were filled with dirt) and going to sleep while looking at the sky full of stars was magical.
Making our food in the campfire was also a great plus! And I was very impressed with the food we had each day! We got different dishes and they were very complete meals!
Additionally, the bus was very comfortable, and the tour guide was such a character!
I would have liked to receive more information about the different places, but I understand that the Aborigines don't share much of their knowledge and information so it could be that there wasn't much more to give.
It is a lot of money, but the tour is very much worth it!
