Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bring your money if you want to eat in their restaurant- but it’s so worth the experience and taste!!! Just do it…you can’t take it with you! Place brought tears to my eyes walking around it. So breathtaking to just be present in the face of such an iconic building. A definite must see in the day AND evening!!

We went to the harbor the first night in Sydney and every day after. It is undoubtably a place of constant activity and attraction! One can stroll the harbor and see the iconic skyline or stop at a coffee shop, restaurant or ice cream parlor to enjoy the view. Not to be missed!

Went during June Winter period so the sea breeze was cold. But it did not stop my kids from playing in the sea water near the beach. Lots of shops there for food and relax.

Walking distance from Opera House. Free entrance. Plenty of roses in different colours. Was given a map and direction to the rose garden by a friendly staff.

Bondi is a beautiful location, huge open beach with a big prom to walk along. The pavilion was always buzzing with energy when we were there. A huge amount of food and drink option. There were tonnes of surfers out and people swimming and playing ball games ect on the beach. Yet very clean and well kept. You can also walk between the beaches on a costal path. The place has a great energy.

I would double check the hours and make sure that this isn’t just the spring thing, but what a treat to wander around the art gallery at night!

And I don’t know if this is common on every Wednesday night, but they let us eat in the members’ cafeteria.

    What’s to love?

Big spacious rooms that allow for large format pieces.

The museum showcases Australian art as well as international art.

The building itself is impressive. Wonderful older architecture.

Two buildings to explore: Naala Badu (north building) and Naala Nura (south building). Don’t miss the exterior sculptures!

Did I mention they were open until 10 PM on Wednesdays? And that they have spots for buying champagne and wine?

Views of the city, water, and landmarks are great, but it is a little pricey for the time you actually need to spend on the observation deck.

30 min is enough time for most people.

This is a great place to stay around. All tours via ship, Red Bus and all other tour buses leave from there and it’s a wonderful place to walk, get some Aussie food, shop, or take a tour. I stayed at the Marriott and walked to the cruise ship which was berthed between Sydney Opera House and the Harbor Bridge. I had a fabulous breakfast, and spent several hours walking around Circular Quay before boarding my ship.

It is a great place to unwind and regain focus while enjoying the beautiful gardens and ponds scattered throughout the trail. Cultural plaques dot the trails to bring everything into context.

The Koi Ponds were a big hit with everyone, not only the young children. While you feed the Koi, a turtle or an iguana might make an appearance.
