Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The pavilion was always buzzing with energy when we were there. A huge amount of food and drink option. There were tonnes of surfers out and people swimming and playing ball games ect on the beach. Yet very clean and well kept. You can also walk between the beaches on a costal path. The place has a great energy.Written 6 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jamesw56789Walsall, UK65 contributionsWe have done quite a few escape rooms. Le Rebellion is one of the best themed we have done with some intriguing puzzles. There are padlocks but it was generally clear where you should put the answer. We played as a 2 and there was a LOT to do. Thankfully we had been able to start a little early and so were given a little more time to finish which was good as it was a great ending.
We also played the Marlow Room attheir other nearby site and got out of that just within the hour.
You definitely get your moneys worth here.Written 23 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. 14km course from the city to Bondi Beach, there’s great entertainment along the way and the views and experience are amazing. And heartbreak hill is renowned for being tough.
Absolutely must do and time your visit for August to participate. Also don’t forget to book it in advance, as they may limit numbers on the number of participants.Written 22 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Being in my 60's I was a little worried that I might hold the group up, but the way the climb is organised, how wrong I was. The whole experience takes about 3 hours, but the first 45mins is all concerned with preparation, training and safety, including being breathalysed ! The climb to the summit was not difficult and included stops for pictures which meant no one was ever left behind. Our guide was very good and took plenty of photos of everyone as you cannot take your own camera/phone. I am so glad we did this.Written 6 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jo E1 contributionThis was a great escape room experience. The backstory (treasure hunt on a pirate ship) and accessories were on point. And the clues were hard but doable with a little help from Captain Craig. Bonus points for the printed analysis given to us showing our journey of discovery and eureka moments and how well we did in comparison to other treasure hunters.Written 9 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - yizhu w2 contributionsThis is hands down the top escape room experience in Sydney. The Sacrifice and Intruders are absolute standouts. Both offer deeply immersive adventures, with Intruders especially going above and beyond—no matter how much praise you’ve heard, it will exceed your expectations. The live actor element really adds to the thrill, and the actors was exceptional, keeping us engaged throughout. These two rooms have left us with unforgettable memories.Written 15 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lynnem82Sydney, Australia75 contributionsMy friend and I had the best time doing the Ex Libris room! Simon was the best gamemaster – super helpful (extra cheers for the charge!), very funny and really brought the atmosphere to the room. The puzzles were great fun and so interesting, especially for a literary nerd! This was my first go at a live escape room and this place has set a really high bar. I can’t wait to try their other rooms. Cheers to the team for putting together such a great experience!Written 9 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SmilingKodiakSt Kilda, Australia75 contributionsThis was really fun, much better than I expected. It's a REAL flight simulator, a $200,000+ piece of technology. We flew an A320 Airbus under the Sydney Harbour Bridge, then toured Cairo (the Giza pyramids, the Sphinx) and Alexandra. Amazing!Written 17 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Stotty6Laos74 contributionsThese are really charter boats for short distances, they need to be booked and cannot just be flagged down like a taxi. When we figured that out and called them, a boat was sent to our location quite quickly to pick us up. The service from the driver was fantastic, helping one of our older passengers to alight without issue. He also stopped the boat for a great photo. Not cheap though!Written 7 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Journey102548657671 contributionI rented an R1250GS from Bike Around Oz in Seven Hills, Sydney, for a seven-day tour south of Sydney. The plan was to pick up and start the tour on Monday morning, but since I needed time to pair my equipment and pack the bike, Brian generously allowed me to pick it up on Friday afternoon at no extra cost. This gave me plenty of time to set everything up before hitting the road.
We were eager to begin our tour on Monday morning, but to our surprise, the bike wouldn’t start, which was odd since it had performed perfectly on Friday. Fortunately, a mechanic arrived quickly and recommended replacing the bike entirely to eliminate any risk. This was promptly done, and I was soon back on the road.
With my engineering background, I understand that machinery can sometimes fail, which is always frustrating. However, what stood out was Bike Around Oz's swift and efficient response to resolving the issue, which I greatly appreciated.
From then on, the tour went smoothly, and the 1250GS was an absolute pleasure. This wasn't my first rental from Bike Around Oz, and it won’t be the last.Written 8 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Danny, our guide from Runaway Tours, was warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable; he provided so many great insights and anecdotes and was thoroughly entertaining. He seemed to customize our tour, getting us unique views and perspectives of the highlights of the Blue Mountains. We had a tour that very few experience. Thank you, Danny, for providing us a lifelong memory.Written 16 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
