Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Wild Life Sydney Zoo is located in Darling Harbor in the same complex as the Sea Life Aquarium and Madame Tussauds. The zoo is on the small side, but it does showcase animals that are native to Australia such as koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, and platypus. The saltwater crocodile exhibit was under renovation. For additional cost, you can have your photo taken with one of the cute koalas, but you are not allowed to hold one. Follow the walkway to see the various habitats and different species of animals. The saltwater crocodile exhibit was under renovation when we visited. Other exhibits include frogs, snakes, pythons, and various lizards. Daily keeper talks are held at different locations and times throughout the zoo. Check the schedule when you arrive if interested in any of the talks.

I did this walk as part of the Bondi to Manly walk but the easiest way to access this trail is from the Taronga Zoo ferry. This bushland walking track follows the shoreline and is mostly flat with a few stairs and is well graded, well maintained and signposted. There is a lighthouse at the point and I saw a kookaburra. There are some views across the harbour towards the city and the Harbour Bridge which were excellent. It is one of the longest harbour bushland walks, particularly if you continue onto the Taylors Bay track to Chowder Bay and the Headland Park and Balmoral and I found it the most pleasant.

Fabulous tour led by a great tour guide, Patricia. The Blue Mountains are spectacular and the Ferndale Animal park was great. You were able to feed wallabies and Kangaroos out of your hand. Highly recommend.

4 of us booked a private tour with Dave while on our visit to Sydney for a wedding. We thought this tour would get a look at lots of sights and we were right. Dave picked us up at our hotel and drove us up to the Blue Mountains. Wd saw Three Sisters, took a gondola ride and a cable car ride on an old coal mine car. Very fun! We had lunch I. Katoomba at a cute deli and a coffee stop in Leura. We went to a wildlife park and ended the day taking a ferry ride back to Sydney Harbour. Dave was informative and also let us wander on our own at each tour sight. Highly recommend.

Steve is a wonderful host who took me to visit one of Australia's most gorgeous countryside scenery. We drove south from Sydney's city centre along the Botany Bay to the Royal National Park through the Grand Pacific Drive. We passed through beautiful rainforest, coastal cities, and townships of Wollongong etc, and stopped at the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge to capture the amazing view including the Tasman Sea. The scenic coastal drive was beautiful. Steve is a lovely person and we engaged ourselves in some of the most gripping conversations about each other's nations, especially about Australia. Steve gave information about the flora and fauna. He made me acquainted with some of the beautiful Aussie birds including the Superb Lyrebird that we went chasing in the Morton National Park and I learned some of the extraordinary features, habits and mimicry talent of the bird. The most fun part of the trip was watching the Koalas and feeding the Kangaroos, alongside Steve's remark about these animals. I learned about the marsupial varieties like the Eastern Grey Kangaroos, Red-necked Wallabies, and Swamp Wallabies. Finally, we ended our trip with wine-tasting at the Bendooley Estate. For a person like me who is extremely fond of nature and knowledge, this was a well-tailored trip with Steve as a friendly companion. I highly recommend to going for this tour. I have now personally imported knowledge and wine from Australia to share with my friends and family and experience that I shall treasure in my lifetime.

Our family had a perfect day with Peter for our short stay in Sydney. Really couldn’t have asked for anything more for our tour of the beautiful city. Peter was great and easy to get along with, felt like he was just another member of our family. Perfect amount of sight seeing with walks built into the day!

Also gave us a great recommendations for what to do the following day! Thanks again!

Situated in the heart of Sydney, opposite the Australian Museum and Hyde Park. They have swim lanes for the “serious” swimmers and a huge play pool for everyone else. There is also a sun area which is normally open along with a wave machine but due to recent Covid outbreak you can’t but this will be back to normal soon fingers crossed. The water is a little cool but you do get used to it. Suitable for families of all ages with the leisure pool opening on a slope so perfect for those younger children. It is reasonably priced and they do have lessons there.

Scotty was our tour guide and he was fab! Very knowledgeable, helpful and really went out of his way to make us have a good day. His chattyness, charisma and fun jokes enhanced our day and kept the bus ride interesting between the lookout points and the wildlife centre.
The weather didn’t play ball today but Scotty helped ensure this didn’t put a dampener on the today and in the end we all got the views we were there for. Thanks to Scotty’s perseverance. Thank you!

We loved every minute of this adventure. From meeting at beautiful Rose Bay, to up close, million dollar views of the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and unique vantage points for so many attractions such as Mrs. MacQuarie’s Chair at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Cockatoo Island, Lavender Bay, Barangaroo, the heritage fleet ships and Darling Harbour, we were thrilled to drive our 2 person speedboat on the last day of 2023. Our guide provided great commentary and took many pictures to memorialize the unforgettable day. Do not miss your chance to do this!

Passed onto Colourful from another company that wasn't operating on the day we picked to go. Wouldn't change it!

I took taronga zoo ticket plus 48 hour pass for AUD 84.14. It included unlimited rides plus self-service tea & coffee via their vending machine in this time frame. At the end, I realised this deal was a real bargain.

The boats are clean & comfortable, the crew is friendly, the commentary were informative, the harbour views are always amazing, we could spot dolphins during our ride from Watson bay to Manly bay...got all as advertised by Fantasea.

I needed to reschedule my second day i.e. move my free ride day to the third day. They accommodated my request without hassle. A big thank you.

I have seen a few negative comments by other customers. I hope Fantasea would take steps to address for any genuine complaints.

For me, I would definitely take Fantasea again when I visit Sydney the next time.
