What made it so good? Here are my 6 reasons!
1. Great stories and sense of humour. Super helpful to navigate those rocky bits around Bare Island.
2. Top notch equipment - loving integrated weights (how the hell I'm going back to separate weigth belts?). Also, small group size (on the day it was me and my personality).
3. While I have dived and 'advanced' level, he made me feel comfortable even with the silly questions and not always getting the point. Just too excited to get in ;)
4. Jason knows 'Wally' the Eastern Blue Groper and Wally loved hanging out with us. Wally seemed to be happy to see Jason (literally followed us and photobombed the shark videos). Also, Wally was happy to meet a new friend (Me!)
5. Wobbegong sharks on the sand and rock were awesome (another shark ticked off my 'bucket shark list'!). Jason finds animals like Steve Irwin!
6. - Mel C1 contributionI came to do my Wave 1 course with Freediving Central. Not ever having done any freediving before, I didn’t know what to expect. Upon meeting Dan, I felt comfortable right away. He was confident and clear in his teachings and was super encouraging. I have now done a couple of their adventure trips and I’ve made some great connections through them. - Lorraine Smith1 contributionWhat a great way to spend a day in Sydney - private trip just for our family and friends at an affordable price. Much better value than other harbour cruises offered, and BBQ lunch is included. We could swim if we wanted to, and there was a standup paddleboard we could 'attempt' too. Would totally go again, and maybe try the scuba diving optional add on next time. - Paul B1 contributionI found Barry very helpful, he took his time to explain things I didn't fully have the knowledge about. He is a very experienced diver that seems very laid back but takes diving very seriously. He sells good quality gear and most likely has used what he sells.
The dive boat is run very professionally, and he has been running the north shore deep dives for many, many years as well as discovering many new wrecks.
