Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sunlit splendour on the ground floor, then moody lighting for the basement and first-floor exhibition spaces at this friendly, welcoming library space. We fancied taking a breather in the rooftop bar, but it only opens at 4pm, mysteriously

We paid a brief visit to the Sydney Visitor Centre, in the heart of The Rocks area. We were not particularly looking for any information, but rather went in just to have a look. There is lots of information around and the staff seemed quite friendly as we observed from a distance. Next time we need help about Sydney sightseeing we will know where to turn to.

Yes it’s my local so I might be a little biased, but it’s still an inviting and comfortable environment - regardless of you are planning of using the library or not.

Lots of seating outside if the sun is shining - otherwise head inside and relax in a pretty quiet space.

Directly opposition Green Square station so you have lots of public transport options. Worth a try !!

Saw the SMH Year in review which was wonderful and absolutely packed. A great event and few premises could handle such a night with the feeling of being close up and yet ave so many people. The staff did a seamless job of organising it all. Hated the casino on the way here but this was such a contrast to the outside activities.

We were fortunate to gain free entry with BA business class. This lounge is better than BA lounges, friendly staff and really good À la carte dinning.

We visited this underground, hall, during Vivid, we must say it was quite spectacular, presenting the theme of fire, there were massive BBQ,s cooking meats, plenty of seating to enjoy.

Located in Haymarket, walking distance from Central Station & UTS. It gets crowded at certain times. Staff is very friendly. Academic books vary covering different disciplines. Despite its location on a busy street, the reading area is soundproof.

Now part of the Woollahra Council, the old Paddington Town Hall is a library. It was built between 1890 and 1891 and is a good example of Victoria architecture. The clock tower arrived in 1905, It has a distinctive presence on Oxford Street and worth a look even if you are not considering reading a book .

I've had the opportunity to use the lounge a few times flying through Sydney. It's good to have the option with an amex card to use the lounge.

It is comparatively small but rarely feels crowded. The showers are the best part and really useful coming off or getting into a long flight to Asia or beyond to freshen up. There is a coffee and tea bar as well as a bar serving alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are available on tap alongside free WiFi.

My only qualm with the lounge is the quality of food. I've tended to be there in the mornings when a standard fare of a full English is being served. Although it's filling, it just could be of a more varied range.

Still I think better than other lounges and restaurants in the airport and very close always to my departure gate!

Not so much a lounge, more a not very well attended Cafe with a shower. Can see why it’s cheap.
We came in hoping for a lounge to… well lounge in as we have travelled 30 hours so far from London on our Honeymoon and have to wait for check in on a domestic onward flight to open. But there’s nowhere really to relax, bar unattended, minimal “breakfast” food out to graze on (in here 1-3 pm)

It’s a bit of a poor excuse for a lounge in all fairness. The screen on the wall showing the plaza premium at Heathrow with far better facilities is just rubbing it in!
