Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We always go in the side entry to visit the fine book shop.
The cafe is very pleasant also.
Upstairs there is sure to be a large exhibition and the huge picture gallery.

We paid a brief visit to the Sydney Visitor Centre, in the heart of The Rocks area. We were not particularly looking for any information, but rather went in just to have a look. There is lots of information around and the staff seemed quite friendly as we observed from a distance. Next time we need help about Sydney sightseeing we will know where to turn to.

Yes it’s my local so I might be a little biased, but it’s still an inviting and comfortable environment - regardless of you are planning of using the library or not.

Lots of seating outside if the sun is shining - otherwise head inside and relax in a pretty quiet space.

Directly opposition Green Square station so you have lots of public transport options. Worth a try !!

Quiet lounge in the early morning which I prefer. Vicky at the lounge entrance was lovely and made my day. I'll be sure to come back.

Saw the SMH Year in review which was wonderful and absolutely packed. A great event and few premises could handle such a night with the feeling of being close up and yet ave so many people. The staff did a seamless job of organising it all. Hated the casino on the way here but this was such a contrast to the outside activities.

Located in Haymarket, walking distance from Central Station & UTS. It gets crowded at certain times. Staff is very friendly. Academic books vary covering different disciplines. Despite its location on a busy street, the reading area is soundproof.

Now part of the Woollahra Council, the old Paddington Town Hall is a library. It was built between 1890 and 1891 and is a good example of Victoria architecture. The clock tower arrived in 1905, It has a distinctive presence on Oxford Street and worth a look even if you are not considering reading a book .

Average experience compared to other Amex Centurion lounges. Food basic, lack of clean cutlery and lots of dirty plates and cups on empty tables. Could probably do with a visit from whoever runs the other lounges to get it on par

We visited the lounge before flying first class to Singapore. We were offered spa treatments when we arrived and took the offer of a neck and shoulder massage after a glass of champagne. We really enjoyed lunch and the overall experience. We were also lucky to receive Christmas PJs for us and our grandchildren.
