Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

And to get to Manly Beach which is a nice ride.Written 13 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The ferry is comfortable and a fairly new boat and it's quite inexpensive to ride.Written 27 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Even on Winter’s day, managed to enjoy an outdoor seat in bright sunshine.

When we figured that out and called them, a boat was sent to our location quite quickly to pick us up. The service from the driver was fantastic, helping one of our older passengers to alight without issue. He also stopped the boat for a great photo. Not cheap though!Written 7 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The sign says to wave to ferry down which I did twice but it just skipped it. Be wary.Written 6 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - craighR3297NCChelmer17 contributionsWe used Water Taxis Combined for the service. I pre-booked and paid the trip online, so was aware the trip was expensive. I was told the trip was 15-20 minutes, but it took slightly longer than that. It is much faster than the River-cat service. The boat driver was most friendly and courteous and the trip very smooth.Written 20 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
