- Tiffanie Y1 contributionI had a generally positive experience with Travellers Autobarn Christchurch. My two friends and I rented a Kuga Campervan for 11 days and had a wonderful time traveling around the South Island of New Zealand. The van is a bit tight for 3 people, but it can be done.
Check-in/check-out was efficient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The campervan was reliable, easy to drive, the fridge and stove worked great. However, the van was missing a couple things that should have been included, most importantly the detachable table that doubles as a part of the lower bed platform. We felt like celebrities!!
9 adults, 2 babies, 11 large suitcases plus carry ons, prams & a port a cot.
Immaculate vehicle & staff!
Arrived early at all pick up points & destinations.
Courtesy texts for any updates etc.

- Stotty6Laos74 contributionsThese are really charter boats for short distances, they need to be booked and cannot just be flagged down like a taxi. When we figured that out and called them, a boat was sent to our location quite quickly to pick us up. The service from the driver was fantastic, helping one of our older passengers to alight without issue. He also stopped the boat for a great photo. Not only was the price fantastic for a big van, but the driver arrived shortly after we had disembarked the cruise ship and got us to the airport in plenty of time to make our 11 AM flight.
If you need to catch an early flight after a cruise, I would highly recommend using the service and would use it for any other services as well.

- Lau1 contributionI booked this airport transfer on behalf of my parents (70+) who were coming to Australia from UK to visit family. The information and help Rob provided before I booked was amazing and gave me the confidence that this service would be hassle free and reliable for my parents.
Communication was fantastic throughout, Bernie picked them up on arrival, he was very polite and helped them with their bags. As agreed the return journey and pick up was also on time.

- MFitzSydney, Australia29 contributionsI’ve been using ASN for years. They used to be much better, gone downhill. Ok for pickups, however always be prepared for them to arrive much earlier. I now dread the airport pickup service at International Airport. It’s consistently one hour wait. You ring at least 10 times to be told to wait always by an angry person like they are doing you a favour. Happens every time.Same answer every time to every client” You are late arriving at McDonalds, the designated meeting point. The driver couldn’t wait and left” OK if that’s honestly the facts It never is.Ive arrived early there often, same standard answer. It’s no fun waiting 1.5 hours after a long international flight. I usually pay fir both buses, pickup and drop off. Not any more, it’s such a saga.Also you have to drag a trolley to the bus where it is parked and then the bus goes to the Domestic Terminal to pick up other angry customers. Never an apology. From now on, as an old loyal customer I won’t be using ASN to return home. It isn’t cheap for the hassle, waiting and ringing phones with message service only. When they started the options were not there like Uber,only a taxi service so it was a cheaper option. Not any more.They need to improve communication and their service. Cramming as many people into a van isn’t the way forward. You just loose clients. Also they should have a loyalty programme and offer some discounts for frequent users. I travel often.
