Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Friendly, helpful staff and headsets which made the Hyde Park Barracks come alive.
We both enjoyed our visit immensely and were very impressed with the variety and standard of all the displays.

We spent 5 hours here and could have stayed longer. So well laid out and immaculate. The reverberations downstairs was amazing, thought provoking and so moving. I am so grateful these amazing people are telling their stories. Thankyou 🙏 The self serve coffee shop is really good and nice to have a break. All the staff and volunteers were very friendly. Thankyou to everyone involved in creating and running this fantastic museum.

Small Museum with great snippets and exhibit artifacts of Australian history, specifically about “the Rocks” area.

I come to the Justice and Police Museum every time I visit Sydney. The exhibitions are always fascinating and the setting in the old Police Station, court room and cells are what truly makes this a must do when in Sydney.

My only complaint is the opening hours. Please please please open more than just of a weekend. So many people miss out because they are there mid week. I watched many people walk away disappointed because you were closed!

Elizabeth Farm is a heritage building, dating from 1793, making it the oldest European building in Australia. The pioneering Macarthur family, founded by John and Elizabeth, lived here and raised their family. Elizabeth was instrumental in pioneering Australia's wool industry. It is said that "Australia rides on the sheep' back." Elizabeth farm is a public museum.

A handsome Georgian building with a range of facilities inside including the Tourist Office but what particularly appealed to us was the vegetation in the forecourt which included wheat and vegetables & herbs as well as a range of flowers. Really innovative and very cheery.

I was there on Thursday the 10th August, and I was elated by the excellent service at the main entrance when my students got the chance to speak with Archaeologist Lise Pyers.

Not only is she very knowledgeable and sociable , but also a caring host.
My students were very happy about the whole experience thanks to her guidance and services.

I’ll definitely visit again with other classes from ILSC School.

I highly recommend the place as an excursion destination for both locals and tourists as well.

This is also has an address of 279 Castlereagh Street Sydney. The entry is free and open from 8-30 to 4-30pm. It has a collection of over 200 years of archives, Museum,Gallery, library and the hidden mysteries and secrets of Freemasonry. The building is a fine example of Brutalist Architecture.
