Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I and another couple were lucky enough to get the last few seats available for the Chinese National Symphony Orchestra tour at the Sydney Opera House. We sat in what would normally be the choir loft, but let me tell you they were superb seats. I wish other venues would make the effort to put seats there like Sydney Opera House does.

The only down side is the restrooms are on the ground level and it’s quite a walk from the choir loft to get there. The concert was supposed to start at 2030, but didn’t till 2045 because they wouldn’t open the seating gates till 2015. No way you can seat that many people in 15 minutes. The concession stands didn’t open till 2020, causing more people to be late.

I enjoyed an unforgettable walk over the Sydney harbour bridge. Amazed by the beauty of the architecture of the bridge. I also loved the excellent view over Sydney itself and especially the very best view over the Sydney Opera House. There is also a possibility to climb over the bow of the Harbour Bridge, of course with safety equipment. Climbing over the bridge will cost something. Just walking over the bridge is free.

Great location for an evening stroll. Had the opportunity to have Easter lunch there too. Great atmosphere with many restaurants to choose from. Definitely worth the stroll.

Queen Victoria Building - grand heritage olde-worlde, iconic copper-domes, stained glass, 5 level of shops bedecked with Christmas cheer, giant Xmas tree in the interior. The Great Australian Clock (astronomical) hangs suspended from the ceiling – amazing. Elegant high-end shops, restaurants, cafes, white-red-green baubles exterior Xmas tree, lit up at the night - retail-therapy time. Will visit again soon. (I have gait/walking challenges (stroke), wear a legbrace.)

This was a nice area. It was best to go when you visit near circular quay. But for me, the shops were a little expensive and take care when choosing a restaurant. Some are just expensive tourist traps.

Nice walk from round the bridge and the rocks to circular quay onto the opera house and into the gardens you see the best bits of Sydney in one walk

Sydney Tower, Centre Point iconic structure, still the tallest structure in Sydney, the 360-degree rotating restaurant (we had dinner there a long time ago). Next time we visit Sydney, must try Skywalk. (I have gait/walking challenges (stroke), wear a legbrace.)

We enjoyed a wonderful day having lunch at the boutique hotel restaurant with a wonderful view, good food albeit no service , and spending time walking around , laying down on the grass and dipping our toes in the water. The view of the famous bridge, CBD , but also seagulls and what nature has best made it a perfect day .

It's a solid older cathedral with some great paintings and stained glass windows. Doesn't compare too well to some of the larger/older cathedrals of Europe, but still pretty cool.

A 20-30 visit is likely enough for most people.

We discovered this is as we were walking over the bridge. It's in the south concrete pylon. Great Little museum, Great history of the bridge. Amazing views from the top, and it's 1/20 the price of the bridge walk. It's bigger inside than you think. 30-45 minutes in total. Cost was around $24 (around £13). If your not interested in the history it is worth paying for amazing 360 views of the city.

Friendly, helpful staff and headsets which made the Hyde Park Barracks come alive.
We both enjoyed our visit immensely and were very impressed with the variety and standard of all the displays.

This memorial is a icon that symbolizes the importance of an area you can pay your respects to the ANZAC regiment who fought for king and country. A free tour and a worthwhile visit if in Sydney.

I saw the Elvis musical, good. The theatre has beautiful, ornate scroll work, etc, everywhere in the interior. Gorgeous staircase, perfect for.sashaying diwn. Oldest still-operating theatre in world (apparently). There are tours (I think weekly). The place looks really old-fashioned and sort of sadly dark and neglected (must be hard to dust all the scroll-work). I'm into totally modern decorating so don't go by me....
