MV Bel is something special and incredibly comfortable and spacious. James, our captain for the evening, was extremely personable, knowledgeable and the most wonderful host. To be able to see the beautiful Sydney Harbour from such a unique perspective is incredible, particularly when paired with a bottle of sparkling wine and charcuterie. - Pam101312 contributionsWas a very fun and engaging introduction to the City of Sydney. Sam was energetic and easy to get along with, making for a great time overall. Moreover, we were taken to explore not only the CBD but also some of the nearby suburbs outside the city centre, very picturesque look out points to see the harbour and beaches. Sam also took time to provide tips and suggestions to let us enjoy our stay in Sydney even more. We enjoyed the many conversations during our tour and even sang along together in the van.
The tour really highlighted the beauty and overall vibe of not only Sydney but also Australia as a whole! He taught us so much about Australia, the history, the culture, the Aboriginal influences and traditions, the horticulture, the animals, etc…. We saw so much in this beautiful region and ate delicious donuts and meat pies. Everywhere we stopped, Menashe had friends! Having the option to spend extra time in places (like stopping for chocolate and ice cream in Leura or spending extra time feeding kangaroos) made the private tour the best option for us. We had 10 gastric and beverage stops and truly enjoyed them all! The strawberry - watermelon cake at Black Star Pastries was incredible - as was Tokyo Taco, Robyn gave wonderful historical narratives along the way and made it a point to take us down several side streets to explain many of the murals and local artwork. - TctrivIrmo, SC3 contributionsWe spent 32 days traveling Australia and New Zealand, seeing, and doing so many amazing tours, and ended our stay with this one! And it did not disappoint! Beginning with our planning stage months in advance, they were quick to answer all inquiries and provide recommendations. In the end we agreed to spend the day at Featherdale Zoo (their recommendation) and then onto Blue Mountain and visiting towns and sights along the way. The day could not have been better, including the weather. It was very pleasant to spend the day with Joseph, who was very informative and attentive. We never felt rushed, we spent as much time as we wanted at the different venue, and never felt like we were “on the clock” sort to speak as many tour guides make you feel. Featherdale is a must-see zoo! We feel like we have seen every zoo & sanctuary in AUS and NZ, loved them all, and yet this one was our favorite. The blue mountains are spectacular as we expected, and Joseph made sure we saw them from every lookout point. The weather made it extra fantastic. We walked the entire boardwalk of the rainforest, took the cable car, sky car, and the railway options to view the sights. We opted against stopping for lunch and instead continuing with the sights. The car ride was long to the mountains & back but the vehicle was clean and comfortable. Water was available to us. We arranged pick up and drop off at our hotel at the airport and Jospeh was on time at 9am and dropped us off at 6pm. All in all, a great day and a fantastic way to end our month-long visit. We returned to the US early the next day fully satisfied that we saw all we needed to see to end our AUS visit. Again, we could not have asked for a more pleasant last day. The pilot really knew his stuff telling us about all the places in sydney below. The flight was very comfortable. Will recommend to anyone travelling to Sydney. - Electa SHonolulu, HI4 contributionsThe Aussie Animal tour to Featherdale Wildlife Park was exceptional due to our guide Jenn. Her through knowledge of historical facts of Sydney made it like a Shakespearean play. I enjoyed her commentary and perspective on Aboriginal people of this land. I learned about the government of Australia and political parties while driving out to the animal sanctuary.
The animals in the petting area included wombat, koala, wallabies including a rare albino wallaby, echidna, tasie devil, and many other rare and exotic species. We even had our picture taken with a gentle koala. This is a dream come true.
Jenn drove us later to Sydney Opera House where she showed us where to meet our tour group. This 1 hour walking tour described the historic architecture plans and politics behind this iconic building. Our guide here was exceptional.

We are very impressed with Scott’s knowledge of history & experience of Blue Mountains areas. He introduced our overseas friends with the best Kangaroo pies, delicious food & fabulous wine. We even spotted Kangaroos in the wild who were soon hopped away when we shouted “we ate your cousins!”. We can’t thank Scott enough for taking us on tour on his birthday! Blue Mountains is a very magical place indeed & the secret route of Megalong Valley is just breathtaking. We highly recommend this tour guide for your Sydney’s sightseeing. Thank you Scott!
