Justin’s engaging and memorable way of telling the history of Sydney, and Australia in general, makes Sydney come alive. Additionally his up to date insights on local current events provides a factual perspective. Street art, museum, pub and dining tips further complemented the walk. I learned so much about the area and it made me feel excited and confident to continue exploring the area even after the tour was complete. Our guide was a very kind and passionate man who clearly loves history and made the tour so fun. I learned a lot and loved the storytelling and inclusion of aboriginal stories within the tour. I felt I had a better understanding of Sydney’s history after this tour! Great value for the low cost, too. He was informative, friendly, and provided us with a lot of stories about the indigenous people of the Blue mountains as well as the rest of Australia. I learned so much about the 7 Sisters and species of plants and animals native to the area. I didn’t want the tour to end! Our driver and tour guide, Menashe, was also top notch. He made us comfortable, answered our questions, and personalized the tour. It was fantastic! Our guide Aiden was really a good soul and seemed to enjoy being with us. He tell you different information about Chinatown. Everything from the history, the Architecture and of course the many different cultural foods we were trying and eating.
We were pleasantly pleased with this tour, as my husband and I alway Book a food tour in any major city we visit. Highly recommend this tour if you love Chinese cuisine and you want to step outside of your comfort zone to explore the many Asian food types. This is a great way to spend an evening. Robin was very down to earth and knowledgeable about the history of the rocks but not in a boring way.
Slight mishap with the meeting point not saying the Harts pub on the information (like the end point that states a pub name) and only the address of the building across the way. For any future people just go into the pub.
The pubs can get very loud so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is too hard of hearing or triggered by noisy spaces without special earplugs.

We didn’t know a lot about Sydney or Australia’s history and we left have learned so much while being surrounded by the history of the pubs we visited. Lots of knowledge gained and delicious beers tied to the stories along the way. We couldn’t have imagined a better evening. She is not a big beer lover and there were ciders available which she enjoyed.
