Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Queen Victoria Building - grand heritage olde-worlde, iconic copper-domes, stained glass, 5 level of shops bedecked with Christmas cheer, giant Xmas tree in the interior. The Great Australian Clock (astronomical) hangs suspended from the ceiling – amazing. Elegant high-end shops, restaurants, cafes, white-red-green baubles exterior Xmas tree, lit up at the night - retail-therapy time. Will visit again soon. (I have gait/walking challenges (stroke), wear a legbrace.)

Browsed the many shops & luxury brands for sale as well as enjoyed a couple of hot chocolates a a small cafe. It was a great place to come & explore when wanting to kill some time. I would like to re-visit as this is the same location as the Sydney Tower.

We had a great time visiting the tram sheds with a group of eight friends. We enjoyed it so much that we went back a second time to try a different restaurant three nights later, and it was equally as much fun. Both the Japanese and Chinese restaurants were excellent and the staff were very competent. Oddly, we didn’t plan to go to Asian restaurants it was just at the other venues were either closed at 5:30 pm, or lacking in energy and life.

The mall is regarded as one of the trendiest and busiest shopping districts not just in Sydney, but all of Australia. It's a relatively short pedestrian area between King and Market Streets but still hosts nearly 500 specialty outlets and the Westfield Centre. Good range but mostly top end. Busy mall, throngs of people when we visited on the Monday and Thursday. I think a 'must do' when visiting Sydney if only for the experience.

Exterior facade looked very old but surprisingly the interior is very modern. Good varieties of shops/dining & a huge Asian supermarket. Paddy Market is in the basement of this mall.

One of the many malls found along George Street . A mid size modern mall with a good mix of retail & dining. A decent size COLES supermarket adds to the attraction. Definitely one of the better mid range malls along George Street. Worth a visit

As we stayed near this Mall, we practically dropped by everyday. Either for our meals or shopping for our groceries at Woolsworth and many other shops. There are lots of eateries and we ate both Chinese and Japanese food. Daiso was a delight as we could get our favourite stuff and household needs. Commonwealth bank was helpful as the staff were alert and efficient. We managed to open an account immediately and hazzle free.

What my family and I like about this mall is the rear exit which brings us to a open garden' with shops at both side. Further down the path, a flight of stairs led us to the Central Park and immediately you see many people either taking a break or walking their pets. One evening, we were there and we looked up the Mall, we saw the beautiful lightings like a flat solar panel at the protruding rooftop.

We enjoyed our coffee breaks at the mall and also shopping especially on rainy days

I worked in this area over 40 yrs ago so was interested to see the changes. In my day there was just a few shops but now it's been redone and has heaps of the larger stores plus boutique shops . The outside looks old and plain but inside looks amazing. I was very impressed. Looks totally different to other shopping areas in Sydney.

Smaller than other malls like say Westfields, although that means you can't get lost. Doesn't have the big brands but it still has a lot of basics like a supermarket and many retail outlets. A big food court which would satisfy anyone for daytime snacks or lunch.
The big plus for me is the art-house cinema.

We went to Louis Vuitton this morning, which is alongside the DFS, and so had a look through the DFS while we were there. There didn’t seem to be a lot there of interest to us, and we wondered if it was perhaps targeting overseas visitors instead of locals.

We stopped by to grab some lunch at Top Ryde Bakers house but did have a small walk around the mall sine I also had to pop into the post office. The mall was decently sized and did have a nice selection of shops and food places.
Parking was easy enough and was easy enough to get in and out of. I would have like to have spent a bit more time walking around exploring the mall since t did look like there were quite a lot to offer, like a treehouse like structure near the entrance.

This shopping centre is functional. It does what it was meant to do. However, despite the fact it has been there for as long as we can remember, it has not really changed much. It has all the essential shops, from supermarkets, to coffee shops, butcher's to fashion and so on. You can go up or down the stairs and it will only take a few seconds. We have been here several times and find no reason to dislike it!

The Galleries is a smaller, compact centre, that sits next to the Sydney Hilton Hotel. The current four-level shopping centre was completed in 2000. I think it’s worth a look.

The Town Hall Square is ideal for shopping, siteseeing, food options. One can take a tram, cab or just walk to feel the aura of the place. Many old splendid buildings are in the Square.

Located in Pitt St mall the glasshouse is another location that provides more specialist stores.
On 6 levels there is a decent range of fashion outlets that cater for most needs and budgets.
Not much in regards to eateries but you've got Pitt and Castlereagh sts to sort that out.
