Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Its Victorian architecture and stunning stained glass windows took us back in time. A perfect spot for couples to explore. Shopping here was like stepping into a historical novel. A must-visit for anyone in Sydney!

The markets are on both Saturday and Sunday. We went both days, it’s the same each day. It is really cool - set in the historic part so even just walking around is cool. The market itself isn’t huge and I found a lot of the stalls weren’t great for foreign tourists. Still fun and there is a seating area under the bridge for food. Good morning stroll.

Browsed the many shops & luxury brands for sale as well as enjoyed a couple of hot chocolates a a small cafe. It was a great place to come & explore when wanting to kill some time. I would like to re-visit as this is the same location as the Sydney Tower.

My partner and I walked into Atty’s gallery having never purchased art before and walked out with the Emu Mob and Milton after going back to the gallery twice. I even purchased a third after deciding we needed one more to complete our collection. I can’t describe how wonderful Graham has been to work with. When we were first considering buying Graham said “art should be something that brings a smile to your face everyday you look at it.” I can confidently say Milton, Sally, Marv, Ash, Hugh, Winnie, Chuckie, Dolly, Ollie, Flick, and soon to be arriving Cornelius will bring us years of smiles!

Walked to Sydney Fish Market where I purchased a Prawn Skewer and a Dozen Pacific Oysters at the Boatshed. The oysters were rather fishy since I did not have any sauce to put on them, only lemon. My spouse went to Peter’s Fish Market and got a nice piece of Salmon which we shared. The market was very busy was extremely crowded with shoppers since we had arrived at lunch time. It was hard to decide which vendor to purchase from since they all had a very nice selection of fish to choose from.

Pitt St is one of the oldest main roads running through Sydney’s CBD. The middle stretch, in the heart of the city, is a paved, pedestrianised mall.
This is really just one big, concentrated shopping area and is dominated by big retail complexes like Myers, Sydney Tower and Westfield. Lots of chain-stores have their flagship shop here.
For something a little bit different, it’s nice to walk through the Victorian-style Strand Arcade. Built in 1891, it has retained its old-world charm and houses more specialised shops and boutiques. Haigh’s Chocolates is always a drawcard here.
Street performers regularly pop up in the mall and there is some limited seating in the centre of the mall, although its a busy area (especially around lunch time), so don’t rely on finding a spare seat.
If you're not interested in shopping, you can skip it altogether.

Wonderful gallery experience - a bit outside the tourist zone, which adds to the appeal. Staff on hand to explain the art (as well as placards). Lovely mix of pieces that engaged us throughout our visit. Top it off with a tasty snack of dumplings (get the chicken and lemongrass variety), tea and glass of wine. Highly recommend!

We travelled here on a whim and caught the bus route 500 (I think) from Hyde Park for about 20 minutes then a short walk a block back from the stop. Check on your phone or ask a local which stop to get off at. It has all your usual international big brands like Tommy, Ralph, Calvin plus local stores. Pricing was good what I would expect but not quite as cheap as our outlet mall in NZ but the quality is probably a bit better. Like you won’t find a dump of 2 years ago styles. Some good deals on footwear and hubby spent a bit at Politix. Got a bit lost trying to find our way around, especially after we went downstairs to Aldi but there are electronic map boards around.
Had lunch in the food court which has a nice atmosphere. Forgot to check the harbour view as we were tired! All up we were there for about 3 hours.

This was a charming abet small market. I thought it would be a lot bigger. Easy to get to on the bus. A variety of booths from clothing to jewelry, to fruits and vegetables and a small but vibrant group of stalls with food to eat. I just thought it would be bigger. I did find a booth with knit clothing and ended up buying two knit dresses and a top and slacks. It was called Matea. The salesperson/designer was delightful and I have already worn two of the pieces. There is an online shop too.

One of the many malls found along George Street . A mid size modern mall with a good mix of retail & dining. A decent size COLES supermarket adds to the attraction. Definitely one of the better mid range malls along George Street. Worth a visit

We had a great time visiting the tram sheds with a group of eight friends. We enjoyed it so much that we went back a second time to try a different restaurant three nights later, and it was equally as much fun. Both the Japanese and Chinese restaurants were excellent and the staff were very competent. Oddly, we didn’t plan to go to Asian restaurants it was just at the other venues were either closed at 5:30 pm, or lacking in energy and life.

Exterior facade looked very old but surprisingly the interior is very modern. Good varieties of shops/dining & a huge Asian supermarket. Paddy Market is in the basement of this mall.

As an organic market, this is pretty amazing. Not only are there produce stalls, there are also food and household items to be found. There was live music on the grassed area and a jumping castle for the little kids.

We drove from the Blue Mountains just to have a day out in Roselle, and to check out the markets. It mostly seems to be clothes, shoes, some jewellery, bric-a-brac ,books etc. Quite a bit of fashion brand clothes, but you can’t be sure whether they’re real or they’ve just stuck on the brand name. But it’s a pleasant place to walk around and have a little look and very close obviously to the Roselle shops which is great when you need a bit of lunch.
