Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Sathish Kumar VeeraragavanBrisbane, Australia39 contributionsI have seen so many view point so for me it was ok. The pictures shown by business who advertised this place in trip advisor has over done it but not that great like how you see it in trip advisor. An average place to visit. But quiet to visit after 5 cos of less foot print. We had the whole view point for our family as we were the only one there lol.Written 16 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lorraine LTarwin Lower, Australia3,581 contributionsStarting at the Clog Barn Holiday Park which is ‘A Little Bit of Holland in The Heart of Coffs Harbour’. The Barn is the dream of Dutch born Tom Hartsuyker, apart from making clogs here he has also built a miniature model Dutch Village and a small railway. The entry to this attraction is free and it is pleasant strolling through the gardens admiring the small buildings. There is a cafe attached to the main building where I believe they make a pretty mean pancake.Written 11 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pumpkin20Bathurst, Australia353 contributionsWow! What an absolutely beautiful green space, with easy walkways and so peaceful. The gardens are so well cared for it’s a huge credit to the volunteers & staff. The glasshouse & shade house had some lovely plants. You can also buy plants form the gift shop. The volunteer working the day we visited definitely loves the garden & was so helpful.Written 25 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tam WBrisbane, Australia10 contributionsIdeal beach to bring children for a run. Rained before we arrived, but was lovely & cool. Some decent waves, so may be good for surfers, not sure.
Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon walking the beach up & back down.Written 12 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The walk is about 1.5m or 1 mile round trip down a road near the tall green steel gates and zip line facility. Requires some elevation gain and loss. There’s a turnout in the road before the actual walkway that offers views just as good without all the physical effort!Written 8 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hayers2016Narrawallee, Australia27 contributionsIt’s quite a long walk at 9km, but we saw a heap of birds and lovely habitat along the creek. Excellent signage informed us of the incredible culture of the Gumbayngyr people of the region and how they used the various plants and animals seasonally.Written 24 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lorraine LTarwin Lower, Australia3,581 contributionsStarting our day today at Sealy Lookout which is about 6kms outside of Coffs Harbour and up a very interesting road where they are currently carrying out roadworks. The road at times is quite narrow but that didn’t stop some drivers from driving around blind bends at 80kph on the wrong side of the road. I am sure the ‘F’ word flew out of my mouth a couple of times as an adjective referring to these idiot drivers. Making it in one piece to the Forest Sky Pier which is the centrepiece of Sealy Lookout and walking out to the end where there are sweeping views over Coffs Harbour city, the mountains and the coastline. On a clear day apparently it is possible to see 100kms to the south. This lookout is accessible for all levels of fitness and leads directly off the carpark where you can also find the Nyanggan Gapi Cafe, a picnic area and toilets. A few minutes back down the road from the lookout is Treetops Adventure for those looking for a much more exciting experience including aerial challenges, ziplines between 1 to 12 metres high, apparently this is suitable for ages 3 and up (I just read that as up to 70).Written 9 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AllanJGJWellington, New Zealand4,209 contributionsVery good little market with the advantage of being able to stroll around the whole area - to the end of the jetty and then out to Muttonbird Island. On the day we visited there was a cheery jazz band in operation being enjoyed by the punters.Written 8 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We walked all the way to the top and had a spectacular view. A must visit place in Coffs Harbour if you are a bird lover. You can see plenty of nests here.
