Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very relaxing and enjoyable. We had sunny warm weather which I’m sure made it that much better as the ground was dry and koalas were out and about.

Lovely restored farm. Ground floor of home well furnished. Check tour times. Tour only 20 minutes around furnished ground floor. Then out buildings. Barracks cafe has lovely out look over Brindabella hills. Simple menu. Dirt road for 1-2k mild corrugations. 5 minute walk from car park to buildings.

As a geoscientist who doesn't miss showing my kid lots of rocks, this is best geological educational centre I can remember seeing. It has a nice mix of theory and hands on which helped me explain concepts which were difficult to explain previously. There is also a gemstone and interesting rock exhibit in the foyer. We only go to Canberra occasionally, but will make a point of going back to Geoscience each time we do.

An absolute fabulous adventure, both educationally and food wise. Jayson took the time to explain the philosophy behind his truffle farm enterprise and the love he has for his project including his much-loved canine assistants. It was a breath of fresh air to be shown around the farm and then enjoy the degustation lunch afterwards. The lunch was brilliant, flavoursome and intriguing all at the same time. The dept of flavours were evident in every course. Truffle in season is a delight not to be missed. Overall, a great team and a great experience.

We were fascinated during our visit to the High Court - including our teenagers! On arrival, we met a staff member who was available in the foyer to provide information about the Court if we wanted it. We were invited to sit in a court room and listen to a staff member as he made a presentation to a visiting school group, including examples of cases explained in a way visitors could easily understand. From what I can see, there are no scheduled public tours, but staff are available to engage with you when you visit. We wished we had more time there to look at the Australian Constitution Centre on site. An impressive building, friendly staff, and convenient (paid) parking. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful visit.

Things to note: you need to pass through a metal detector on entry. Photography is welcomed.

This site is really only for astronomy buffs. If that's not you, then don't come here.

The site was well laid out, with lots to see. There was a path and signage explaining the various points.
Only lowlight was the caretakers cottage which is supposed to be open but was locked. Could clearly hear sound from the displays inside.
    Can get very windy here.

Had a fabulous time at the Canberra Escape Rooms doing the Curio Room. The room was so well designed and the puzzles challenging but achievable and so well done as part of the whole scenario. Also good variety of puzzles to solve. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely go again and highly recommend this room. Small tip if you are a little older, take your reading glasses and a mobile phone with a torch :) Was good for a group size of 4.

Hippo Co is a perfect hideout for a cold winters night in Canberra. After being in Canberra for almost 2 years I have finally found a whisky bar, not just another gin cocktail bar.

We did the Funky Walking Tour in central Canberra with Marg. It was a very enjoyable 2 hours - seeing bits of Canberra's history that you would otherwise just walk past and hearing stories about the Canberra, its formation and some of the characters involved. Marg was a great guide.

Very different to our other tourist experiences in Canberra and highly recommended.

We had a group of 13 experience an eat Canberra food tour in June and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had the best guide, Dane who was lots of fun and extremely knowledgeable sharing lots of info about the food and local area. Nobody in the group had experienced a food tour before and all commented on how much they loved it and would be recommending it to everyone they know!!
