Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Shane DGriffith, Australia50 contributionsIncredible displays and the new cold war section is well presented.
A lot of construction is still occurring and at present a maximum 2 hours is the tour time you have.
Will be great when completed construction works.Written 25 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Sadly, we didn't see the PM in a meeting, but the tour was awesome. Got to actually sit in the visitors chairs. Awesome!!Written 10 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rainmaker22Orange, Australia12 contributionsWe had a great time at Questacon even in the school holidays. We pre-booked our tickets and although it was busy we didn’t have to wait long to access any of the activities. The Lego exhibit was the highlight and we spent over an hour in that gallery before making our way through the others. Overall, great value.Written 8 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- John TMt Tamborine16 contributionsWonderful, Informative and the kindness to the animals was awesome. Thank you to Josh for taking myself and another lady on brilliant tour to feed the animals. I am not an early morning 7.30 am person but I wouldn't have missed this for the world. My words don't express how much I enjoyed this tour. I loved every second of it (even holding a snake!). The wildlife have names and responded so very positively to Josh and some were waiting for their brekkie. Josh could answer all of my questions (which were a lot). I can't wait to go back and do it again and hopefully will be in a position to spend the whole day there. Thank you so very much Josh. You are awesome too!Written 22 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Suzanne FToccoa, GA20 contributionsThe entire horizon is before you. The clear air and the lack of anything blocking the view is breathtaking. It seems that Australia is full of these types of opportunities.Written 25 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Aviation CentralSydney, Australia183 contributionsA beautiful lake to cross when I was at Canberra. The water fountain was actually running when I was there, which is quite a rare thing to see. On the windy and stormy days, it will close. However, great views around the side!Written 21 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MarthaWKGold Coast, Australia5 contributionsVery relaxing and enjoyable. We had sunny warm weather which I’m sure made it that much better as the ground was dry and koalas were out and about.Written 27 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AussieVGMarsfield, Australia476 contributionsI love a visit to this museum, and it was a pleasure to revisit as a parent with the toddler. The exhibition halls are a great mix and perfectly engaging for all ages. We also visited the discovery centre which was brilliant. We did get lost a bit, more signs back to the exit in the outdoor space would be welcome.Written 14 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wendy F1 contributionThe gardens has been one of the most memorable and amazing places we have visited in Canberra (October 2024) we were amazed with the attention to details of every building, figurine, gardens, trains, flowers and international history. The gardens also had many interactive features for children (and very big children) to interact with. Well worth the trip and entrance fee, there is so much work that goes into this attraction, well done to the creator, gardeners, designers and I would imagine many more. We also enjoyed a lovely morning tea in the Cafe.Written 17 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GiorgiaReykjavik, Iceland70 contributionsIt wasn't in our plans, but we stopped by and we decided to get in this super beautiful museum! Best decision of the day! We were surprised by the interesting interiors and the way they were organized for people to learn more about a part of Australian history:)
We definitely recommend a visit! :)

Plenty of Floriade volunteers on site to answer any queries. Food a little pricey for a market.Written 9 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s not big inside but we enjoyed looking at fossils and reading the interesting facts. $50 entry for family of four I thought was reasonable (for these times).
The outdoor playground is great for all kids under 10. I didn’t notice a cafe which would have been great on a cold day to get a coffee and watch kids play.
The gift shop had great gem items starting at $2, my kids loved getting “treasure” and was economical to get them a few stones each.
Was a great way to spend 2hrs.Written 13 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
