Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Wendy F1 contributionThe gardens has been one of the most memorable and amazing places we have visited in Canberra (October 2024) we were amazed with the attention to details of every building, figurine, gardens, trains, flowers and international history. The gardens also had many interactive features for children (and very big children) to interact with. Well worth the trip and entrance fee, there is so much work that goes into this attraction, well done to the creator, gardeners, designers and I would imagine many more. We also enjoyed a lovely morning tea in the Cafe.Written 17 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mandy TBrisbane, Australia4 contributionsThis was a terrific find as it was something unexpected in Canberra. The birds were beautiful, especially the baby chickens. It was fun to feed the birds but as it was at the start of the day many weren’t interested. I would advise not going during busy times as it is a small space and would get over crowded easily.
I would go again as a couple as it was relaxing and enjoyable.Written 11 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The slides were very low quality and some areas were quite unsanitary such as the inside of the tower which felt like it was flustering with bacterial infections... the twister ride was bumpy and overall uncomfortable to ride. Most disappointingly the staff began to close the rides well before our finishing time of 2 PM and for some half an hour early, if I am paying until 2 pm I want to be able to Italian the facilities until then... The food canteen was once again unsanitary and crammed with yelling staff and flavourless food... overall I am quite disappointed by the whole experience due to the frustrating staff and policies...Written 13 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - eskimojoe3 contributionsthe pool has good staff, pity the pool
water becomes disgusting and facility goes down to zero level quality on weekends, maoris/islanders bringing in their volleyball and 15 kids tips it off and makes into a rubbish facility dueing weekends. The pool is shared by all and as far as ball sports this is clearly marked that they are not allowed, why people continue to play ball sports that can injure young children is beyond me. Good pool has good rules that are followed, on weekends this place should be avoided as it turns into a trashy beach.Written 3 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Life jackets are supplied and must be worn. The eight year old girl had problems wearing a jacket with traditional swimming costume, so would recommend board shorts to avoid wedgies!
One hour was ample time for these littlies - 6 & 8). Lots of activities. I had to convince them to go down the slide, but they wouldn't go on the inflatable pillow (where one person gets launched when another jumps on it). Maybe if they had older cousins with them to boost their confidence they would've attempted it.
There is a safety briefing first up and people are asked to be helpful if they see someone struggling on the many ramps that are used to get back on. Everyone was very patient with my two. Lots of swimming, climbing and slipping over involved but lots of laughs to be had. I was in histerics watching people. We went on a morning when it was about 23 and overcast. It was perfect. No shade once you are on the park and not practical to wear sunnies or hat. The little one doesn't like getting water in his eyes (go figure, it's a water park so get over it) and said he wished he had goggles - again, not practical.Written 11 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
