Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Tamsin HSydney, Australia781 contributionsTerrific market with great shops. Delis, fruit and veg, seafood and cafes and food stalls. A great place to spend an hour or two browsing and buying! There's a Lifeline bookshop too - fabulous 😍Written 15 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- katrina c6 contributionsThe Southside Markets are amazing! The produce is so fresh as it is straight from the grower.
You can talk to the growers about there produce.
I attend nearly every week with my family.
We purchase our produce for the week and then sit down and have morning tea.
Great selection of stall holders selling seasonal produce including apples, seafood, vegetables, bakery items, meat and honey.
I highly recommend and you are supporting the farmers directly!Written 3 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are quite a few selling clothes, and arts and crafts. There are a surprisingly large number of pet food and toy stores. If you are looking for a flea or farmers market, then this is worth a visit.Written 5 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
