Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I've had the pleasure of visiting Scott Leggo Gallery a few times now, both in-store and online, and it's truly a hidden gem!
The quality of their products is outstanding, and they offer a wide range of artworks showcasing the beauty of Australia. Personally, I'm drawn to their stunning coastal aerials. The staff are always friendly and helpful, adding to the overall inviting atmosphere of the gallery. Whether you're an art enthusiast or looking for the perfect gift, a visit to Scott Leggo Gallery is a must. Scott's photography effortlessly transports you to breathtaking landscapes and moments in nature. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

I visit Handmade Canberra at least annually, with my adult daughter.
The markets are great. So many different products on offer from small businesses which is fabulous.
Since COVID the markets are being held virtually which is a fantastic initiative to continue the support.

Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre is a gift shop and exhibition space in the North Building above Canberra Museum and Gallery and directly across from the Legislative Assembly. It only has the one exhibition space but it is often occupied with works by some of Australia’s best contemporary designers and artists. Works are available for purchase and the gift shop is perfect if you want to buy something beautiful and unique, one off designer pieces that I have found always hit the mark and make excellent birthday/anniversary presents, they’ve not failed me yet! Craft ACT is a not-for-profit organisation that supports artists, ‘crafters’, designers and makers at every stage of their careers and so the exhibition space could be showing works by students or novices or it could have works by well established, highly accomplished, professionals. Call ahead and find out what’s showing or, if visiting CMAG below, pop upstairs and take pot luck. I’m yet to be disappointed.

'Arts Centre', it's used for art, performing arts, visual arts, performance art and practice space. Thegallery for Canberra Contemporary Arts Space is here too, as is 'Sage' one of Canberra's best restaurants and arguably, one that lifers degustation to an art form... ok maybe that's building it a bit, but the fact that the market isn't running is an unfair indictment of the precinct.

We found this wonderful showroom in Canberra!
There is a huge range of carefully thought out high quality adventure equipment that is specially designed for extreme conditions, or just cold winter weather. ...
We bought some ‘light as a feather’ down coats (!) and tops, perfect for sub zero temps. The beautiful details and high tech fabrics included in this impressive range are a testament to the Australian owners who have clearly experienced extreme adventures. We really recommend dropping in to check it out.

Fabulous... so much to choose from, gorgeous fabrics, so many to choose from. Vintage and antique items too. They also have a stall of some of the handmade items at the Sunday old bus depo market as well. Worth the trip.

I have never had a barber pay so much attention to detail, and spend so much time. From ensuring not a hair was out of place or able to shed after the cut, so no worries about hair on clothing afterwards. A genuinely luxurious experience.
The only down side is I asked for the length to be maintained but just tidied up, this was done on the top but not at the back, or it would have been a five rating.

I have attended Lilly Cooper for that first time last year. I found the service very helpful, friendly and professional. I was able to buy some gifts and receiving genuine help from the owner of the store was much appreciated.

I have since returned on the event I needed another gift and I found another good gift, which was impressively gift wrapped for the occasion.

I must say, I find all the stock interesting and I find the location, parking and access quite easy.

Thank you Lilly Cooper for always have the goods for when I need to give the best gifts.

Being transported to European style heaven. Nothing but class oozes throughout the store. Settle in and you don’t want to leave. The delicate teas, the depths of sensory experiences with the colours and scents that envelope you ever so gently as you take in the rich colours and style that permeates.

We loved this store! The gem stones, opals and fossils were all beautiful!
The owner happily showed us his picture book of how he gathered the opals and told us the stories of his journey and all about the gems and fossils in the store.
Customer service from the owner was A+ and so was the customer service from his daughter the next day and his son and another gentleman on the Saturday!
We loved the store so much we went back a couple of times to buy gifts for the family and friends.
The prices are great, and the mammoth ivory carvings are just stunning, you could stand and stare at them all day!

It’s a great little store, you must visit!
