Great range that turns over regularly. Busy commuter crowd. Limited wine and spirit range, but you're coming here for the array of taps (12), friendly crowd and knowledgeable staff.

- Middy D2 contributionsThis guy is mad - he sells beer from a van called the "Suss Bus" from a carwash in the middle of Canberra! He hates politicains but loves to talk politics? He hates over regulation but loves to talk and regulation? Its the opposite to what you expect; a bit like a street perfromance of the obverse BUT you get to drink beer and shots! You can also take home beer and shots but the bottle - amazing stuff!
Never seen anything like it in Australia as he is the only one allow to do this in Australia - not fenced off food truck area (although there are food trucks there) this is on the footpath!
You have to check this out before he is around - he apparently travels a lot so he could be here one month, gone the next!
PS. Spin the wheel but you have been warned! Muddle bar is now closed and it was the greatest setting off point in my life and the beginning of many adventures. Prices were about what we are used to. This is not a Michelin star restaurant. - JamesfarnarklerCanberra, Australia54 contributionsSo four years after my initial review of 88mph, time for an update. It's become so popular that getting in on a Saturday night has become an issue. Get there too early and you'll be told there's a private function until 9pm. Get there after 10pm and there'll be a queue to get in. 11:30pm last Saturday and the queue was 25 metres long. Due to the capacity of the place, I doubt the people at the end of that queue got in much before 1am. The group that owns the place could surely relocate to a bigger site. Excellent for a function - we had a group meet for a private event.
