Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Its gleaming Danish design has made it a symbol of cultural excellence and inspiration. From the moment you set eyes on it, you can feel the grandeur of the building and the possibilities it holds. Inside, you can experience world-class performances in a variety of genres, from opera to ballet to musicals. The building itself is a marvel of engineering, with a series of curved shells that are perfectly balanced and designed to capture the light and create an awe-inspiring atmosphere.

We had the luxury of enjoying views of the harbour from multiple angles both from land and sea, and whichever way you look it is stunning, so iconic

Sydney is NOT a cheap place. But this ferry system was cheap, clean, fun and efficient. My pick would be to take the ferry out to Mannly beach. Great beach and great trip.

Good: Caught the Free Blue CAT bus to King’s Park and walked through the botanical gardens. Loads of different Australian plants and various birds. Great views over the river towards Perth and Fremantle.
Not so good: Very busy at the weekend. Some interesting sculptures. Really liked the Australian women path.

I enjoyed an unforgettable walk over the Sydney harbour bridge. Amazed by the beauty of the architecture of the bridge. I also loved the excellent view over Sydney itself and especially the very best view over the Sydney Opera House. There is also a possibility to climb over the bow of the Harbour Bridge, of course with safety equipment. Climbing over the bridge will cost something. Just walking over the bridge is free.

Stunning foreshore area in the heart of Brisbane. This area is over 30 years old but it is truly a beautiful place filled with so many places to visit from vegetarian gardens, a beach and pools, bars and cafes, stunning gardens, markets, cultural and exhibition centres and walkways. Takes about 20 minutes to walk the length but you'll be stopping so frequently so you could easily spend hours here. It's clean, peaceful and amazing to visit right in the heart of the city.

Amazing walk took longer than recommended time, so much to see, we were fortunate that sculpture by the sea was on. The views and beaches are magnificent so many people and it was a Tuesday weekend would be too busy

We enjoyed our visit to The Great Aussie Beer Shed and Heritage Farming Museum in Echuca. The museum is only open on weekends, but will open on weekdays by appointment. My friends made an appointment to visit on a Thursday afternoon. What an amazing place! The owner collects all kinds of stuff, much of which is related to beer. He was so enthusiastic about his collection when he gave a presentation. His collection is quite large. I was able to ring the bell that marked the last lap of races in the 1956 Olympic Games, which were held in Melbourne. The collection includes the world's rarest beer can. Neil, the owner, was a wonderful host and I highly recommend a visit.

Four of us visited on a Friday afternoon and had a great time. The wines were delicious, the views amazing and the overall experience was laid back and very comfortable. If you are tired of pretentious wine testings then this is the place for you. Enjoy.

Don't miss going to the kangaroo sanctuary in Alice Springs. It was one of the top things I did in all of Australia. The story about how the sanctuary got started and all they do to save baby kangaroos is amazing. You will get to see kangaroos close up and your admission helps them to continue to save kangaroos. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire visit and I learned a lot about kangaroos. Support this important sanctuary and the work they are doing.
