It’s really a bucket list place and a really stunning piece of architecture from the outside especially. We ended up going inside to which is easy to do through the main entrance and they allow you to walk around and look about at all the history that’s taken place over the years there (not inside the actual theatre/ opera area). Sydney Harbour is truly magnificent with so many places to visit. You can criss cross the harbour using the tap on top off ferries using your debit/credit card or opal card. We spent less than 40€ for a week, including Sydney Trains to and From Gosford.

The exhibition half way up worth the pause but the views from the top are 360 deg and worth the effort. You can go anywhere in the huge Sydney harbour using the tap on tap off cb service we have been travelling all over the harbour for four days and have paid less than 40€ each including train from Gosford return, Each day. It has always been my dream to meet Brolga ( as many before me, a little in love with him ) A charismatic, friendly man with clearly an enormous passion for saving kangaroos & Joeys! The most wonderful tour with him and his gorgeous rescues! I loved every single minute, if you get to attend this tour you are very very fortunate!! Danny warned us that he'd have to rush us though and proceeded to give us a wonderful time with amusing stories.
