Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

    1. Transport - picked up on time; comfortable air-conditioned van; driving time around 90 minutes (including pick-ups of 9 people); good driver; vehicle had lap-belts
    2. Meals - water provided in van; lunch at restaurant included in price - very tasty (drinks extra)
    3. Cave walk - sea was too rough to allow boat transfer from car park so had to walk to the start of the cave path (took about 10-15 minutes over a small hill; good steps and footing); walk to cave over another small hill took a about 10-15 minutes and again, good steps and footing (N.B. I am above-average fitness and walk fast); I also had hiking poles which were very useful for stability)
    4. Cave - I come from New Zealand where we have an abundance of limestone caves so overall was a bit underwhelming (but still glad I went)
    5. Fishing village - had a brief ride up and down the river in one of the classic Thai motorized boats (only to the river mouth and back) which was good
    6. Pineapple plantation - on the way back stopped on the roadside at a pineapple plantation where the tour guide gave a brief talk about the plantation (about 15 minutes)
    7. Tour guide - very knowledgable, personable and spoke good English

This is a great experience and thoroughly recommended. The guide was great and very flexible to adapt the tour to our pace. We also had a lovely lunch which was very tasty. Just one point, the highlight of the tour is the cave , reaching it requires strong legs, knees and ankles and a good pair of trainers! A lovely day out.

Drove to Phraya Nakhon Cave ticket office. (decided to take the shorter hike to the cave.
I was 72 wife 62) Walked through knee high water to jump on the boat to Laem Sala Beach around the bend. Memorable scenic Gulf of Thailand views views. Enjoyed the serene Laem Sala (sp?) Beach walk before and after our struggling hike to the cavernous cave. The royal visited shrine. Stayed long enough to brave the hike down. Incredible views looking down upon the Gulf. Met monkeys along the way sitting munching on fruit. Quietly observing heavy breathing hikers. Boats awaited us to return back to our car. Should have worn hiking shoes. Recommend for hiker types.

Great way to see the highlights of bangkok. Lovely to have someone who knows where they are going and an air conditioned car to pick you up when you are finished at each destination.
