What travellers are saying
- rosie6 contributionswe did the man united stadium tour and it was so informative. paul was our tour guide and he was so good! i don’t like football that much, i went more for my partner but even then i liked it a little bit more. the museum was huge but we had to miss half cause of the time we got there. but i really recommend the stadium tour. only thing was there was 3 girls not listening and constantly taking pictures and taking their clothes off all the time. it was so distracting. they probably didn’t even know anything about football 🤷♀️Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Scenic39065709001Colne, UK33 contributionsUnbeatable tbh.
So many shops, so many restaurants and cafes, cinema and an arcade. Can easily pass a rainy day here with free parking too!Written 15 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's also a very thought-provoking and sobering experience. It's really well set out, lots of items are exhibited and there is lots of information, accessible to all age groups. I love the enormous poppy installation which goes up the tower!Written 19 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EbrownSheffield, UK1 contributionCame for the turtle feeding experience and thoroughly enjoyed our time with Cammy the turtle. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable we just wish there was a little more too it as it was over pretty quickly.Written 6 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Karen MWirral, UK20 contributionsI thought 2 hours was not long enough really, we brought our 4.5 yr. old Grandson waited in a que for a ride for 20 minutes and a car had been taken off for maintenance, so we were told the wait would be approx. 40 minutes so decided to come back later. it was half term so busy as expected.
I did think it was a little tired needed a bit of refurb and TLC in some areas some of the interaction things did not work we pressed buttons but nothing happened? soft play he enjoyed then another que for the merlin ride would be better if the rides seated 4 so both could go on with him. The best thing was the 4D film experience that was thoroughly enjoyed by us all that was the best thing.
I do think Adult tickets should be reduced as it must be expensive for a family and not much for the adults to do, especially those who are only going in a supervisory role. So not much time for actually building with the Lego as we had to get back to que again for the ride we had previously waited ages to go on at the beginning. could not fault the staff at all everyone was friendly and helpful.
Our Grandson enjoyed it as he was too young to notice tatty bits ,he wasn't big enough to do some things like the climbing wall and another experience were there was an age restriction....Dont think we will be rushing back to this Manchester venue may try Legoland Windsor in the summer but not to the Manchester one.Written 21 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Laverne x1 contributionAmazing!!! First timers, out for my sons 21st! The team were amazing from the beginning as we were running a little behind and it was the last flight of the day. Not only did they accommodate (which they didn’t need to) but they were friendly whilst doing it!
We loved absolutely every minute of it! A big shout out to Matthew! (Mr tt saves lives!)
A big shout out to the receptionist and the camera guy - you guys are amazing. I would absolutely drive up from Oxford to do it all again (yes, I know there are closer centres :DWritten 15 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Two years ago a group of my friends on a whim went and played a round of disc golf, we’ve played every week since then, started playing in tournaments, been on two trips to Latvia to play over there.
Go to the cafe, rent a disc each (£1 each), and go play a round. If it’s your first time play the green tees.
The course is well run by volunteers and the Manchester disc golf community, who do such a great job in the upkeep.
Manchester is very lucky to have Longford Park!Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But we used the touch screen to order and we selected berry pancakes to be told on payment they were not available so selected the Granola for exactly the same thing to happen again so we thought 3rd time lucky and selected the vegetarian breakfast and it said not available on checkout. Seriously could not believe it so I ended up with toast.
The new cafe is a buzzer system at table which is great the toast came quickly but we were waiting over 20 mins for our drinks and really needed a drink to eat the toast.
I have to say the old system at the previous store where you get your drink when you pay was much better.Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark SHarrogate, UK22 contributionsGot charged £5 for a balaclava as they are compulsory. We could have brought some if they had said but they don't tell you u till you arrive even though they ask you to fill in a disclaimer online before you arrive. The carting was great, definitely five star. The safety video is good, the instructors briefing was rambling nonsense.Written 17 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David DDevon, UK20,544 contributionsSaturday 25th March we were walking around the vast Trafford Centre where we saw this sculpture.
It is located in front of the entrance to the New Orleans, French Quarter in the Centre.
The life-sized bronze sculpture depicts four street jazz musicians singing and playing their instruments.
The banjo player sits on a chair while the trombone and clarinet players are standing. In front of them stands a singer clutching his trumpet in his hand while he sings.
The sculpture evokes the spirit and sound of the deep south and streets of New Orleans.
The sculpture is the work of the artist Colin Spofforth and was unveiled here in 1998.Written 1 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
