Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- RaunaqSinghPunnNew Delhi, India261 contributionsGoogle map location for this Gurudwara is very accurate. Although I have requested TripAdvisor to update the location on there website, as well.
Its a small building with Darbar Hall on the 2nd floor. You need to take off your shoes on the Ground Floor itself. They have stairs as well a lift, which can be used if need be.
Its a quite place. Given the low footfall, there aren't many sewadars. They do have some dining tables setup on the ground floor, I assume they are for Langar.
Parking can be a bit of a problem here. Although on one of the posters in inside the gurudwara for an upcoming event, it was mentioned that parking space has been reserved in the nearby hotel. I (along with a friend of mine) had visited around noon, and co-incidentally it was an even date so we were able to park our car along the road in-front of the gurudwara. Coincidentally because a nearby sign board said "parking only allowed on even dates" for some time duration.Written 26 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HINA WIslamabad, Pakistan7,340 contributionsThis shrine is located on the Ranong Road in Phuket Town. It is connected to the Jui Tui Shrine. It is the oldest Chinese temple in Phuket. It is also known as Put Jaw Temple and Kwan Im Teng. Kwam Im is the Chinese Goddess of Compassion. We were allowed to take photos here. You can see many Chinese locals visiting this temple for attaining good health. Some come here to get their babies perfectly named so that they have good, long and healthy lives. Another quaint ritual of this temple is that the sick come here, shake a box of bamboo sticks until one falls out. They note the number on the stick and get the medicine of that number from the herbal medicine shop. A very very interesting temple.Written 26 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RajivPhuketPhuket, Thailand59 contributionsThe park is located in the midst of Phuket Town with easy access and loads of parking place. On week end the park is busy during the mornings and evenings when people get time off from work to come run, exercise, cycle and socialize. On week days there are regular who keep fit.
The track which runs 4 km is perfect for runners and cyclist with ample place to maneuver. I myself go run here and find it extremely pleased to run through the garden that has lakes. People of all ages mostly locals are seen running and cycling on this track. There is also place for workout, football, aerobics, basketball, rink football and outdoor activities. People who run on these tracks, some of them are really good and athletic.
This place is great to spend time with kids who have a play ground too and a lake where you can feed fish and take them cycling or roller skating. On weekend Bangkok Hospital staff come to do free health check up in the park which is very popular.
There is refreshments, toilet and restaurant with security 24 hours.
Hence I highly recommend people who are interested in training or spending healthy time visit this park.Written 6 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We initially dropped by on a whim to try and find some art work that we could take home with us as a memento of our time in Thailand only to find the gallery itself becoming an unforgettable experience!
We aren’t very artistically cultured people but found by the end of our tour we started to really like/be able to appreciate the great art work.
To top off the experience we found ourselves having a quick lesson on how to draw (it had started to rain badly during our time) which was great fun! If we come back to Phuket we’d definitely book in a painting lesson with them!Written 8 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I am so grateful my friend recommended I take a cooking course at the Blue Elephant Restaurant and Cooking School in Phuket, Thailand. While there, I had the pleasure of meeting and having a one-on-one epic cooking course with the world-renowned Thai Chef and pastry Chef Pat.
From the moment I met Chef Pat in the cooking classroom, her lighthearted, quick-witted, and highly intelligent personality put me at ease. She is not only a great chef but also a phenomenal teacher. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to meet her and create amazing food together. The staff at the school and restaurant were also very cordial, making me feel like royalty while I waited in the gift shop, reviewing the amazing products made by the restaurant.
I can highly recommend, without any hesitation, a two or five-day course at the Blue Elephant with Chef Pat. Not only is she able to think quickly on her feet, but she can also adapt and adjust recipes to accommodate any dietary restrictions. In fact, if you have dietary restrictions, I recommend this course even more because Chef Pat will open up a new world of spices and techniques, giving you a new palette of colors to create masterpieces in your kitchen. Chef Pat, or “Chef Pound,” as I affectionately referred to her, taught me how to masterfully combine ingredients using a mortar and pestle to create perfect dishes.
When you go to visit her, you will know exactly what I mean. Ha ha, and please say hi to her from me!Written 19 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. She chose to visit 5 out- of-the- ordinary restaurants that most visitors would rarely find on their own.
Our first stop was at a very small food stand a few steps down from the street. A bowl of Rice Noodles with Crispy Pork Belly was served. It was a delicious start to our morning tour. It truly had a "homemade" taste.
Our next stop was to a restaurant popular with the Myanmar crowd. The food was unusually different than a regular Thai meal. I enjoyed some new tastes and flavors. It was here that Gigi's knowledge of the food, the restaurant and the people who frequented this restaurant was so informative and entertaining... another reason why this tour was so enjoyable.
Our last stop was to a cafe where we enjoyed a special desert, one that was brand new to me. It was called Ai Yu Jelly with Yusu honey syrup. Absolutely delicious! What a treat! What a tour! Of all the great things you could do in Phuket this tour is certainly one of them. And thanks again, Gigi, for creating one of the highlights of my time spent in Phuket.Written 7 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Mr Rang is the best hard rock drummer at Phuket and his band HeavenFall is playing all the hard rock songs that you like to hear. They also have friends and other bands playing at the bar. - Kalipso1 contributionI visited this great weed store in Phuket during my stay, and I was immediately welcomed by friendly staff. They gave me helpful info on the products, including their delicious cannabis edibles. The laid-back vibe and excellent selection made it an enjoyable experience. It’s clear they prioritize quality and service—definitely coming back next time I'm in town!Written 24 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
