Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our driver was punctual and spoke very good English. We covered all the places planned in our itinerary. Our driver shared interesting stories about the places we went. All in all a good experience.

We booked from and were courteously transferred to and from our accommodation near Lamai with no fuss. Chris (Australian) and Bom were great guides with Chris going over and above helping us out with some other enquiries unrelated to this tour. The buggies were comfortable, simple to operate and a great deal of fun and while I did expect a bit more of an "off-road" experience, I was not disappointed at all. The stops were scenic, entertaining and informative and the lunch destination had a spectacular view and an excellent meal. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour as a great day out exploring Samui.

An amazing half day trip! Organisation and communication was easy, pick up was prompt and on time!

The trip itself was brilliant and we'd highly recommend! Our guide and driver were very caring, helpful and thoughtful of all of the members of our 4x4. Thank you so much for all the cold water and towels and the mosquito spray! Much appreciated in this heat!

There was plenty of time at each of the sights so you had ample time to explore and take photos. The waterfall, magic garden and temple are beautiful and lovely to look around. The views at the top of the temple are stunning, please do walk up to the top if you can! The lunch was also really tasty, at a beautiful spot for views! There is a pool, so take your swimsuits if you fancy a dip as there is time!
For those daring enough to do it, do take an opportunity to sit on top of the jeep! It's fun! And adds some excitement to the jungle journey!

I've saved the best part to last, the Elephant sanctuary was amazing. Learning about the purpose of the sanctuary and getting to feed the elephants was just amazing. We are very glad we booked, it was a last minute decision and we were so lucky to get a space! Definitely add this to your trip to Koh Samui!

Very long day , great value . If you don’t want to climb to the view points or kayak there’s little else to do .
The National parks are all ‘dry’ areas . Have done a few boat trips and this was not the best.

A 10/10 experience. My partner and I were so glad to have Aek to be our tour guide. He made our experience in Samui so much better. He is very friendly, polite and really answered all of our questions and made us comfortable during the entire trip. The tour became so smooth and easy thanks to his exceptional service! If anyone wants to book, I do recommend you ask for Aek.

Loved it! Got to blast around the island and go to see some great vantage points and wildlife. The guides were really good, kit was great, staff friendly and happy to share details about the island. All three of us massively enjoyed it. Would certainly recommend!

I absolutely loved spending a few hours with the pigs, they are so cute! The lunch was yummy (but be prepared to fight off many flies). I wouldn't have high hopes for the snorkelling- the water was murky and there was high coral that could scratch you, that combo made me feel uncomfortable doing that part. As long as you come for the pigs you'll have a good time though! I still recommend.

This was one of the best sight-seeing tours I’ve ever been on. It’s a great way to see a lot of the island, and you won’t forget the 4WD surprise as you travel in the group. Loads of fun, great guides and a full day - highly recommended.

This was an action packed day of touring the beautiful island of Ko Samoi. We made about 7 stops are various tourist places that were mostly fun and interesting. Our guide FIFA was amazing and kind. We unfortunately were delayed in meeting her at the cruise port because our ship had to tender in, but we were able to take a taxi to their next meeting area and caught up with her and the driver. Be aware, this is not a private tour, but has many jeeps and tourists. It was handled very well and organized so I still think it was the best way to see the most.

    TL;DR

My husband, our wedding guests and I had an amazing time cruising around Koh Samui on the Red Baron as part of our pre-wedding festivities! It was a highlight of our stay. Could not recommend enough.

    Full review:

My husband and I chartered the Red Baron for a 3h sunset and dinner cruise as a big thank you gift to all our wedding guests - and we had an amazing time! It was very well suited to the diversity of our group - ranging from 20 to 80 years old!

Sveta was very flexible with our changing number of guests (getting answers from everyone was like herding cats!). She organised the pick up from and drop off to our hotel for everyone (38 people total) so it was all a breeze.

We boarded, had delicious welcome cocktails, and enjoyed discovering the different areas on the boat. We could easily have been more people without it feeling crowded. We got some delicious welcome snack as we sailed around Koh Samui. We made a stop for everyone to swim and it was a great bonding moment for our guests who didn’t know each other well. There are showers on the boat to get rid of the salt afterwards. We then had a buffet dinner with a great variety.

Sveta, Ella and the whole team made the experience very enjoyable, being attentive to all our needs.

Thank you so much for offering such a great experience!

The experience wasn’t quite as we had expected but it suited us. Our driver was cheerful and drove carefully but spoke little English so couldn’t fill us in with any details. Visiting an elephant sanctuary was definitely not on the sample itinerary and cost us an extra £22 each. The temples visited were spectacular but had to Google them afterwards to learn of their history. We had plenty of free time to have food and shopping breaks.

The team was very caring and allow time for sightseeing. They explained the history and Buddhist practices. A coverage that is a good experience for a half day tour of the major sightseeing sights

Great day out, so exciting, lasted about 7 hours, such great value for money, saw loads of things plus had a nice lunch - if you are in the area, book it, don’t worry if you are of a mature age, it’s like being a kid again!
