Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Aswin Nobby SusantoLabuan Bajo, Indonesia525 contributionsThe Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church is the one and only catholic church as well as praying garden in the Special Region of Yogyakarta where we will see the most spiritual harmony acculturation between Ancient Javanese & Hindu-Buddha and Modern Javanese & Islam sacredly integrated together within Christianity. Like some of other catholic worship places, here we can find church and praying garden be one in one place. But there are so much different regarding holy church with Javanese-gazebo design and all Javanese traditional property used in worshipping, Holy Jesus statue inside of a sacred temple with Hindu-Buddha shape in its praying garden, holy waters statue which source from natural spring believed to be a everlasting blessing, and many more.
We can visit this church by driving around 45 minutes to the Bambanglipuro District of Bantul Regency on the southern side of Yogyakarta city.Written 12 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Climber71719613 contributionsAfter Borobudur sunrise, we went for another sunrise at Bukit Panguk Kediwung. It was nice to have a sea of clouds just below us. According to our driver, the valley and river in this area contributed to the formation of the beautiful clouds. Its entrance fee is 5000 rupiah compared to 475000 rupiah for the Borobudur sunrise. It is more tranquil than Borobudur. Great place for sunrise viewing!Written 8 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Cooler than in town and the valleys, it seems like an excellent place to spend a few hours in a cooler, shaded recreation area.
The forest is truly beautiful with wild red pineapple growing. The area opens out into a beautiful manicured garden with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and area.
Well worth a look. There are a few other areas nearby also worth a look.Written 6 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The artists in Yogyakarta are extremely creative. My wife is trained in arts and she is much more interested in art galleries than me but I try to appreciate. Worth a visit! Will buy a piece if we have the time to pick and choose but we were in a rush.Written 2 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
