The room was faultless, sea view, queen size bed, large tv, coffee, tea machine, jacuzzi bath, shower, jack and Jill sinks, sofa, desk, hairdryer, towels, bathrobes, slippers, complimentary shower gels and shampoo.
Beautiful flowers on the fields on the way up past Minchella's and then you can follow the coastal path up to Souter lighthouse with gorgeous views or head slightly in and take the cycle path.

Cracking place to spend some time, terrific views, informative and welcoming, excellent museum with a nice little café.
We visited Souter lighthouse and had an amazing tour, Ian was our guide and he explained the history of the site and how the lighthouse worked.

It was great to be able to sit in the restaurant and look down on the races rather than standing out in the cold.We had a good view and really enjoyed our meal with a good vegetarian option.

The statue is amazing from afar and detail is amazing up close, with the views of the sea in the back ground this is a great picture opportunity with the family.
The view over the cliff-top towards the lighthouse is often shown in local and national newspapers, especially during stormy weather, so be sure to pack your camera.

A brilliant surprise was the spectacular views of the industrial Tyneside docks, which provides a fascinating juxtaposition with the Dark Age surroundings.
