Restaurant Joubran in Saghbine, a beautiful village in the western Bekaa Valley located at an altitude of 1,039 m above sea level and 72 km away from Beirut, overlooks the artificial lake Qaraoun.
The delicious mezze consisted of humus, baba ghanoug, fattoush, tabboule and French fries was already served on the table when we arrived. Then came the delectable main meal which consisted of either sayadieh rice, safron, pieces of maquerelles fish and fried almond or shish tawook grilled chicken at the end fruit and Turkish coffee were served.
