Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a farm shop devoted to selling their own duck products. Anything you may wish to eat that is local to the Pays Basque is on offer here. It is all delicious and produced on their farm locally, although it is quite a large production it is all super.

The beach itself has no more than 150 m of sand, but you can spend hours admiring the place, the waves and the surfers.
There is a small charming restaurant on your way to the beach and a very close parking.

It's in the town center, it's different to the Spanish, the base of the tower is big. But the church is nice.

Medium sized church with amazing alter piece all across the back wall. Lovely organ installed on the balcony.

Despite the numerous windows, this was surprisingly dark inside. It was built between 1856 and 1869. There is a fine rose window above the western entrance.

Old bask cemetery and the view on the ocean and the montains is superb. Old chapel is beautiful.
Must see when on the bask coast.

An excellent vantage to watch the sun go down and am interesting curiosity in its own right. Its a 20 minute walk from an area to park the car, not a steep incline and your at the top. Watch out for the ponies!

This is not a grand ornate church but more a sturdy, extremely well kept one with some interesting features. It is well worth a brief visit, on a warm busy day, into it's cool interior away from the tussle and bustle of this beautiful city.

This is a small sandy beach and only accessible by a steep path. When I visited in August it was very crowded but not uncomfortable. There was a life guard supervision and a marked swimming area. As with most beaches on this coast the waves roll in a quite a pace so sometimes not suitable for children. There is no catering on the beach but there is a food 'bus' in the car park.

There's not many opportunities to stop by a craft beer brewery in Basque France so my wife and I were looking forward to our visit. Nice shop with friendly staff helped us to pick out a sampling of bottles for carry-out. Good stuff!
