Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- eejCottam, UK165 contributionsSo glad this place opened additional days over Christmas and New Year, meant we could go more. Well priced beers and excellent food of every cuisine seemed to be available. It’s a friendly, busy, bustling place and great to sit and watch the world go by with a few drinks and snacks. An easy option to start your Thai street food adventure.
Wish it was open every night but Thursday to Sunday is good enough.
Highlights were mussel omelettes, chicken kebabs, anything on a stick, papaya/mango salads, mashed potato and khanom krok (little coconut custard puddings).
The beer guy in the centre of the market was great as was the cocktail place next door.

Sunbeds on beach nice and quiet, better than hua hin IMO.Written 11 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nathalie d6 contributionsHua Hin is pants for shopping because it's mostly catering for beachy hippy dippy types. There are way too many shops around the beach, on the night market and in market village, selling frilly garish coloured tents type garments and it's 90% polyester central. Bluport is also selling all that tat as well but at least it's got a few other stores on the first floor selling modern stuff. The best part about Bluport is the wednesday fleamarket . It's huge and there are also local sellers selling a big variety of snacks. Thankfully the tourists haven't quite yet discovered it. The clothes sellers are local people and all very friendly and the prices are super affordable. I've found some super vintage pieces there. I hope the mall gets more popular because it's well laid out, not too big and it's clean and airy unlike market village.Written 11 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rina CSingapore, Singapore21 contributionsTook a Grab there from our hotel in the morning while it is still not too crowded and sunny. We went up to the temple and give a little donation and the nun let us choose hand-made bracelets from a bowl.
We enjoy the quietness other than the occasional monkey fights.
We explored the area and took many beautiful photos. We slowly walked back to Hua Hin and had lunch at Nautilus Restaurant which is inside Kundala Beach Resort - you can dine and enjoy the beautiful sea. After food, we walk down the beach. Too bad we were not in our swimwear to enjoy the beautiful beach.Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RIchard035Northwood, UK1,349 contributionsThe Siam Statues are absolutely huge and worth a visit. They are slightly outside Hua Hin so, if you don't have a car, the best way to get there is by Grab (the local version of Uber). The taxi will drop you off at the visitors center where there are a few shops. There is then a regular and free shuttle bus to the statues. They are located in vast square in the middle of the park. You can by drinks and snacks there, take the shuttle bus back to the visitors center and book a Grab back to wherever else you want to go.Written 19 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - The_Traveler010710Shah Alam, Malaysia3,157 contributionsOne of the place to visit in Hua Hin. Very magnificent, detailed, huge kind of statues of Thai's previous kings.
Remember to bring umbrella or bring a cap/hat when visiting this place as there's no shades nearby the statues.Written 27 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tricky111Perth, Australia431 contributionsThis typical Thai Temple is on the side of a mountain and the grounds are on different levels. There is a stairway which leads to a huge Buddha overlooking Hua Hin.
Well worth a visit even though the stairs are for the fit and healthy!Written 25 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
