There are many landmarks around the village marking the events and plaques on houses and cottages describing who lived there and who died and survived.
When visiting Eyam I would suggest you visit the museum first and then walk around the village visiting the sites you have just learnt all about.

A home on lease for the next few years at least to the National Trust, this house is a manageable scale to visit in tandem with the other Eyam village sites.
We enjoyed a good 2 hours walking the house, gardens & enjoying the on site craft shops.

... rugged path which leads back down into Castleton.The path across the ridge is quite good and paved in parts The views are amazing from the ridge, where you can see Jacobs Ladder in the distance and Kinder Scout.
Mam Tor is a high point (the trig point is 517 meters above sea level) that offers a panoramic view of the rolling Peak countryside.
