This is the second time my wife and I have visited Ludwigsburg Palace. Each time we came in the fall during the Kürbisausstellung. It is the annual pumpkin festival. This year the theme was fire so the exhibits all had that in their title with the exception of Fred Flinstone where I saw no fire connection. All in all the grounds are gorgeous and the exhibits fun. However, make sure you stay for a meal as most meals have pumpkin in it. The pumpkin soup is amazing! There are many shops selling pumpkin items such as pumpkin pasta, pumpkin hummus, and pumpkin chips. What a fun way to spend the afternoon with friends and family even if you are not a kid.

The gardens are extensive and quite beautiful. There is a separate entrance fee. During our visit, an extensive fall pumpkin exhibit was set up. It entails pumpkins of all sizes assembled into various objects, such as a lighthouse, the space shuttle and even Fred Flintstone. It's certainly unique and a big favorite with kids. It is well worth the time to visit.

Wonderful Christmas market just 20 minutes from the centre of Stuttgart. Plenty of variety in the stalls. Great food and drink options. Everyone really friendly.

This place is magical. This castle is surrounded by a beautiful, breathless garden with animals such as deers, squirrels and ducks. The garden made us feel calm, composed and in the moment. Inside this castle has so much history, from dancing room to bedroom to the little cabinet rooms.

I would like to give special appreciation to Cynthia. We had questions and she took time to explain some of the history to us. From her explanation, I learned so much about this castle. For that, I am very grateful! Because without her, we wouldn't even know anything about this castle. Take you, Cynthia, for taking us back to history, for taking us back in time. With her, we relive the castle history.

Highly suggest you visit this place and don't forget to walk around the garden!

I love the arena and I am usually there once a month for a basketball game. It is not too big but the atmosphere is always very good. The food is alot better then it was before. Allthough the consistency is not that good. They have a good veggie burger but it really depends on who makes it.

The entrance to the cemetery is dominated by the huge 1939-1945 war memorial, which looks like a small church, with its stained glass windows, however inside is quite stark and there is just a statue in the centre. You cannot enter the memorial, but the grill gates allow you to see inside. To the right is a beautiful circle of carved pillars to remember those that were lost during the wars. At the back of the cemetery is the Zeppelin Mausoleum, which was built by Duke Friedrich for his friend. In fact it is hard to walk around the old cemetary without spotting names that ring throughout history, and those that gave their life for their country. The inventor of the match is even buried here! As an old cemetary it is no longer used, but is still very well maintained, the huge trees here are very special and for a quiet contemplative walk, this is a beautiful place.

If you enjoy fashion, you'll probably enjoy the Mode Museum at the Ludwigsburg Palace. The museum's collection covers European Men's & Woman's fashion from the 18th - 20th centuries, for the privileged and not so privileged. Designer fashions included. A free, well done audio guide provides a lot of context for the items on display. I enjoyed my time here. No photos were allowed.

This is first time in Germany I have witnessed formers market. Saturday early morning vegetables, fruits, honey, flowers, egg, chicken, fish all are came from close by villages from the formers. you can get fresh vegetables.

this is little bit expensive. But none of the items are frozen items or chemicals are not added.

I saw some organic food items also.

this market will start at 8 AM and closed by 2 PM noon. only on Saturdays.

i have added few photos also
