It is in the main square so you should not miss it. It is a very old and interesting church with an unusual design.

Located in the center of Benevento, this park offers a refreshing and relaxing place to go particularly on hot sunny days.
Whether you want to stroll or sit on the many benches, you can enjoy the well kept and groomed grass and trees, the beautiful pond, and several statues that are on display and if thirsty you can drink some fresh water from the little fountain.
Of particular value are the nice playgrounds for children.
Villa Comunale is a must stop in a tour of Old Town Benevento.

We were not sure what we would find within the museum and were pleasantly surprised to find that we had spent two hours inside. The exhibits are well ordered in a modern style, and there is ample information available. The Cloister is full of works of art. Well worth a visit.

Definitely a "must see" area in Benevento. Looks like modern and abstract art from the artist Mimmo Palladino.

Hidden away in the residential area of the small city of Benevento is this most wonderful of treasures. A small Roman amphitheatre that has quite a lot of its original structure intact, with some help from modern maintenance. The small size means that realistically you don’t need long (I probably spent as much time trying to locate the entrance) to see it, but if in Benevento I highly recommend it.

Around 30-40 minute walk from the main train station, pretty much at the opposite side of the small city centre, there is a small fee to pay to enter, €4, but personally I feel it’s worth seeking out if in the city, and certainly worth the minimal fee to help the upkeep

This area is a stone's throw from the hotel we stayed at in Benevento so we felt it would be silly not to visit. We expected to spend about half an hour exploring, but when we bought our tickets we were told to wait inside the building. We were the only visitors at the time and the attendant came into the building and began explaining a bit about the complex. Then she started a multi-media 'experience' for us. It described the Arch of Trajan's history and the local history too.

At the end of our experience the attendant re-appeared and bade us farewell. We then went to wander around the garden surrounding the ex-church. All in all we spent about an hour and a half on our visit and we loved it all. Definitely recommended.
