Good for skiing too, I imagine.

It's also a great place to see the stars at night. We saw lots of peopple having a shooting stars party, drinks and all. Nice

The journey is very scenic and entertaining for steam loco fans. Our only "complaint" is it was over too soon! As the tickets allow unlimited rides we took an extra round trip and would have done another if we'd had time. It is nice both steam and historic electrics are in regular use. The museum at Chamby is excellent with a superb collection of vehicles to see, mostly under cover. The staff were friendly and helpful despite our iffy abilities speaking French.
