It is absolutely beautiful here. We park one car down by the pub and then the other car brings us up to the bridge, we float from the bridge to the pub and it can take anywhere from a couple hours to a few hours depending on water speed. It's a beautiful river float and last time we saw a bald eagle swoop down and catch a fish from the river right beside us. Beautiful. - Moss S8 contributionsI'm reluctant to leave a review, since the best part about Johnstone Creek is that it's always really quiet, and finding a private spot is easy in any season. We started going here when Kettle River was full up, and have started just choosing Johnstone Creek by default. We watched others playing their game while we sat outside and had the best hamburger and salad ever. They have a ton of resources to help both those passing by and locals (such as bird watching and events).
