Carne Beach Veryan in Roseland
#1 of 1 Nature & Parks in Veryan in Roseland
This gem has everything you could ask from a beach - golden sand, rocks to climb on & rock pools to explore, calm & clear water, National Trust car park a few yards away & an ice cream van.
The car park can get busy and the roads to the beach are typical narrow Cornwall roads (which are lovely) Beach is family friendly, sandy and pebbly in places with some rock out crops.
#1 of 4 Nature & Parks in St Mawes
Italianate in nature, on the Upper Castle Road, so the layout is set on a sloping site.
A 20 minute walk from St Mawes car park and is mostly uphill but there is parking outside the gardens.
Gyllyngvase Beach Falmouth, UK 4.1 km away

Fab rockpools at low tide and the tide comes in pretty slowly due to the steeply shelving nature of the beach.
Go for a walk through the park next to the beach and along the coastal foot path away from Falmouth to find another beach and bird sanctuary.
Queen Mary Gardens Falmouth, UK 4.1 km away

This wonderful little park adjacent to Gyllinvase beach is a little gem.
There is also a great mobile van parks outside, very handy for a cuppa and bacon sarnie to sit quietly on one of the benches in the park.

Beautiful beach with easy access from a cheap all day car park (including free cup of tea!) Try kayaking, crazy golf, and the excellent beach cafe.
There is a lot going on here in a small amount of space - beach cafe, parking, mini golf, nature preserve (with unique sea life habitat), rocky outcrops, sand, cobbles and for those who like that sort of thing - p...

Easy to get around with a child in a wheelchair, easy to park and the donkeys and horses melt your heart.
It is a wonderful place for the gorgeous donkeys and ponies who have known the worst side of human nature.

To be honest if you are holidaying in Devon and Cornwall you might as well join for the year then you could spend two weeks visiting everywhere and getting free car parking at all those beach and cliff car parks.
Challenging walk back up to the car park but we'll worth it - there's always the usual high quality NT tearooms to recover in!

There's plenty of parking and if you walk across the car park toward the lock gates you'll find a super riverside walk around the park and the cricket club and back along the road to the duckpond.
