Comfortable, chilled bottles of water passed out at the start and pit stops suggested along the way including a break for 'quite good' coffee from a petrol station stop. Service, food and staff are all excellent. The owner Martin Duncan certainly livens up any soiree and worth visiting especially for the entertainment, views and delicious meals. Paddle boarding at sunrise and a PT session later in the week was just what was needed to start the day. She also had a wealth of knowledge on the best parks and experiences for children.
We experienced Kelly's warm service again when we had a brief visit to Noosa for our Honeymoon. Upon greeting us at the airport she met us with a smile and was so warm and friendly. She then tailored a package for us that included paddle boarding, massage, chocolate treats and an amazing dinner experience at spirit house.
Thank you Kelly for making both our visits to Noosa unforgettable. He also gave us great tips about supping the canals, rivers and lakes and how to tackle the pumping surf. - Peter GrahamAlstonville, Australia238 contributionsI arrived at the Sunshine Leisure Centre to get a bit of exercise and to cool off due to the hot weather that Melbourne has been experiencing lately.
The Leisure Centre is a big complex, there are three 25 meter pools, two of them are indoors and another outdoors.
There is a generous water park in the centre of the complex, for the kids to play under the various sprinklers, water buckets and water guns.
The two indoor 25 meter pools have their own facilities, one has been delegated as the general activities pool, where people can just enjoy the water.
There are generous sized steps and a ramp for the disabled to enter the water.
This pool is slightly warmer than its sister pool next-door which has been delegated as the Lap Pool.
In the corner between the two indoor pools, there is a general Spa, which was very popular.
The outdoor pool is a mixture of Lap and general swimming activities and is the cooler of the three pools.
There is a crèche that is available 5 days for the families with a small one that needs to be looked after whilst the rest of the family indulge themselves in a bit of exercise.
The leisure centre complex has also fully equiped gym.
When I had my swim, I waited in the cafe for my family to find me.
They missed me.
I didn't worry.
A mobile call solves the missing Dad in action problem, pretty easily.
I was too busy reading the latest paper catching up on world events, whilst enjoying a multi grain biscuit and a pretty good cup of freshly made coffee.
Which I might add, for a cafe in a leisure centre, it would put some Street located coffee shops to shame.
What was surprising was the acoustics of the centre, for many mixed indoor and outdoor leisure centres can get pretty noisy with people playing and splashing in the water.
This leisure centre was quiet by comparison.

Very disappointing trip to the Kimberleys, average food, itinerary changes at short notice (we ended up missing 2 places on the list) and a number of times having to sit around extended periods to wait for Patrick to turn up. It didn't start off well with Patrick turning up 3 hours late on the 1st day. We had to spend an extra day in Kununurra as the booking for the Ord River Dam wasn't made in advance. Accommodation was also not booked in advance which caused problems. Tour guides normally provided information on the areas you visit, but this was not the case here, little to no information was provided.
The trip was cancelled in Broome, (budget had been exceeded) 4 days before the scheduled finish date (we didn't get to visit the Dampier Peninsula). He promised a refund for those days, via email, but only followed through on about 1/3 of the amount owed and didn't answer any emails or voicemails and blocked us from the Facebook site. He didn't turn up to the Consumer Affairs tribunal meeting and hasn't responded to the orders made by the Tribunal.
After our experience it is hard to imagine that most of the listed reviews are genuine. I found it unprofessional with poor planning and organisation.
