#1 of 3 Nature & Parks in Hayling Island
Away from the busy single route on & off of Hayling Island, it's perfectly safe for everybody to enjoy, & popular with nature lovers, too, who enjoy seeking out the local wildlife around this pretty coastal walk.
The trail passes along the west side of the island and through the nature reserve, so plenty of wildlife to see and hear.
#2 of 3 Nature & Parks in Hayling Island
If you like nature walks do the circular route round the outside of the golf course, spot the rare plants, go onto the Kench, where the houseboats are and see the wading birds (without disturbing them).
A Nature Reserve at the end of the beach sometimes houses a small herd of Highland Cattle, which is a bit of a surprise.
