It was very busy but man in the car park was very helpful and welcoming, as was the lady in the visitor centre and so many of the guides including in the kitchen happily sharing anecdotes.
Been to there lots of times it's a great place for a day out with the kids nice garden and a lovely house friendly staff and a big car park cafe is a expensive.

Lovely walks, a bit boggy - as you would expect of a nature reserve in the UK - so wellies are in order!
Although only open a few times a year it is well worth making the effort to visit this lovely nature reserve.
