Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have visited many vineyards..both in England and Champagne, and this is the first time we have seen the disgorgement process done manually , what a treat .
It was informative and friendly - accompanied by excellent wine and a lovely cheeseboard.
We also liked the whole ethos behind the wine production and care for the environment.
    We will return .

I took my mum here on Mother’s Day! It was a lovely atmosphere and the Jazz band is a great touch. The restaurant itself is quaint and pretty. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

There were a few things that could have been improved upon but the staff quickly sorted them out. The Camembert that came out was cold so it was not soft on the inside as it should have been. The staff went and changed this pretty quickly. They could have given fresh paper menus as the ones they gave us were covered in oil and crumpled. Nonetheless, it did not overshadow the experience as it was lovely.

Great sandwiches in the bar area so decided to try the restaurant. Can only describe it as horrific. I love The Grand Hotel and visit quite often. I ordered the char grilled vegetabe platter which consisted of barely grilled courgette, soggy aubergine, spring onions and grilled tomatoes spread over the plate all covered in a weak tomatoe sauce. It was barely warm. My companion had the meat pie which was served in a small dish with a pastry top. The meat was of poor quality and top pastry pasty white. The peas and mash were tepid. Never again.

Quite a unique and wide selection in a cosy atmosphere. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. A haven for wine lovers. Had discover some magnifique and unique vinos. Was kinda of reticent towards New World, the Pulp Fiction experience changed this . Tried a aged gruyere cheese with a dry riesling: beautiful match

This coffee shop has a nice atmosphere and the adjoining deli is a nice asset. However at present it's a wasted opportunity. During our visit I counted 5 orders of fellow customers that were wrong (including serving meat to a vegetarian!). On the plus side the foccacia were nice, although for nearly £20 for 2, they should be! Unfortunately, they took 35 minutes to arrive and not particularly busy. As with all new start ups, it's imperative the management see things from the customers' point of view and work on the business model and fluidity of service of they want repeat business.
