... if you are here on a pleasant day it also traverses beautiful countryside and they selected several sites based on military considerations for the excellent views that make for terrific views for scenery as well.
Superbly interesting piece of history, one can just imagine ancient Romans walking around this site and to able to touch stones that have been handled by those same Romans is extraordinary.

The military museum on site is well worth a visit, with some excellent exhibits(this was included in the price when we visited, but check before you go) There is ample parking within 100yds(pay and display)
