We had the privilege of attending the full-day workshop, which entailed arriving at 8.30am for a comprehensive tour of the park; an introduction to the different species of bird; holding, patting, and taking photo...
Some people can really make a difference to nature, well done and keep it up, as this enables us to see and share experiences that are incredible.

Fabulous and unforgettable views over the Grand Harbour and the Three Cities, and a delightful, shady little park to sit and eat an ice cream and admire the many monuments, busts and plaques which decorate the walls.
The park, which is very small, has the most amazing views over the Grand harbour and is a lovely spot to take a breather from the hustle and bustle of Valetta.

Xemxija Heritage Trail St. Paul's Bay
#4 of 65 Nature & Parks in Island of Malta
I digress, the trail is wonderful, starting on the Old Roman Road and meandering round the Simar Nature Reserve.
Very nice nature, and you can walk all the way from Xemxija to Manikata and further into Majjistral nature reserve this way, it will be a 3,0 hour journey summertime in 40+ or 1,5-2 hour in spring or autumn.

... sized park has something for everyone ....kids swings, park benches, shaded seats, pools, fountain, free toilets, snack kiosk/cafe at one end and in the middle a small colony of tame cats who inhabit the park.
Great park for kids, has big area with slides, swings etc....

Just a fantastic place, by far the most beautiful piece of nature in this wonderful island.
The beach car park is a short drive from the main coast road and parking is free.

St. Peter’s Pool Marsaxlokk
#10 of 65 Nature & Parks in Island of Malta
Perfect for swimming and defiantly recommend bringing a picnic, a slight walk from the car park that isn’t very difficult and you are ready to leap into the water!
But if you love swimming or just go in the sea, stay in touch with the nature, appreciate the sea and the ocean, or just see how wonderful is the blue water, so, in this case you MUST to go to St. Peter’s Pool and...

However, there is no dedicated parking and the area around the palazzo (opposite the church) is usually busy so you might have to park a little way away and walk.

Beautiful crystalline waters and amazing rocks show how truly beautiful nature is.
Busy attraction but well organised - we tipped the car park guy €1 for a parking space, headed down to the ticket booth (€8 each for the 20 minute boat trip) and caught a boat with 6 other people.
